Streamlined elegance
FLOAT The new SCHMITZ pendant light intrigues with its extremely slim design. There is no visible power cord, as supply is achieved via the suspension cables. When not in use, the LEO optic appears transparent and offers a floating effect; it is only once switched on that the lit area becomes visible. The luminaire is suitable for use with computer work stations, through its optimised combination of modern LED technology and innovative light strip technology. It can also be utilised to light two opposite work stations at once. All these requirements have been put into effect by the SCHMITZ designers in a 15 mm streamlined body, which will be available in two lengths. The resulting luminaire is the FLOAT, which was presented for the first time at Light & Building 2016 in Frankfurt.

Visible light
STRADA Our new tubular pendant system STRADA was designed with public spaces in mind. With its uniform light distribution, at an overall angle of 270°, it manages to light both the target area as well as the vertical plane. For all projects requiring some form of Human Centric Lighting, we will also offer a tunable white version, which will allow the creation of an individual lighting level when operated via DALI. STRADAâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s optically appealing design and its large visible light distribution area give a harmonious and elegant appearance.

S55 SYSTEM The new SCHMITZ linear lighting system S55 can be universally utilised. Consistency and well-being enter a room via the direct/indirect light distribution of the S55â&#x20AC;&#x2122;s pendant version. Choosing the prismatic OFFICE diffuser makes the system usable with computer work stations and gives the customer room for creative planning. Modern optoelectronics make the product versatile, durable, and highly efficient. Apart from its outstanding design, optimal efficiency was a fundamental requirement for the resulting S55 System.

VOLUMA The new SCHMITZ shade luminaire VOLUMA is named for its impressive size and creates an enduring impact in large rooms with high ceilings. Due to its open construction the luminaire appears to be free floating. Maximum flexibility and perfect synthesis with the projectâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s overall design are achieved due to the shade being available in 30 standard colours and 4 diametres.
