NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Brentwood will, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the normal course of business permits on September 8, 2020 hold a public hearing on, and take actions on the following matter:

Accept public comments and questions, tabulate ballots, and take action on the Final Engineer’s Report to annex territory (Annexation No. 3) to Landscape & Lighting Assessment District No. 19-3 for Fiscal Year 2020-21; ordering of improvements; and confirmation of the diagram and assess- ment.

This hearing will be held virtually, using WebEx at https://www.brentwoodca.gov/councilmeet- ingonline. Consistent with Contra Costa County Health orders pertaining to COVID-19, and in line with social distancing standards, the public is invit- ed to participate in the City Council meeting and of- fer comments using any of the following methods: 1. WebEx. During the meeting, each period for public comment will be announced, and partici- pants may use the “Raise Hand” feature on WebEx to request to speak. The meeting host will call on you and enable your video and microphone when it is your turn to speak. (If you need instructions on how to use this feature, please contact the City Clerk by noon of the meeting date at cityclerk@ brentwoodca.gov or 925.516.5182.) 2. Telephone. If you wish to comment during the meeting via telephone, a request to speak must be submitted via email to cityclerk@brentwoodca. gov by no later than noon of the meeting date. The request must contain in the subject line “Request to Speak - Agenda Item #” and include the full phone number that will be used to call in. In order to ensure the orderly administration of the meeting using this method, providing your name is encour- aged, but is not required. The meeting host will call on you and enable your microphone when it is your turn to speak. 3. E-mail. Public comments can also be submitted via e-mail to cityclerk@brentwoodca.gov. Any public comments received up until one hour prior to the meeting will be distributed to the City Coun- cil, included for public review, and posted on-line. 4. Voicemail.
