but erect bush. This mid-early variety does well in warm conditions. Pods are dark, shiny green, straight and 15-16 cm long. This variety produces about 10% fine, 70% medium fine and 20% large pods and is suitable for multiple hand harvests.

TAHITI/PV-834 An extra fine bean variety with a very erect plant and a concentrated setting. PV-834 is both early and offers a high yield potential. The rather dark green pods are approximately 11.5 cm long and typically range from around 55% extra fine to 45% very fine grade.

SILVERADO/PV-832 A large green bean variety with an upright bush. The variety sets well under hot conditions but also performs well in cooler weather. Apart from the resistances mentioned in the technical specifications table, PV-832 also has a good intermediate resistance to Bacterial Brown Spot. The 15 cm long, straight pods can be graded into approximately 50% medium fine and 50% large grade.

PICASSO/PV-816 A very fine bean with concentrated setting on an erect, open bush. This mid-early variety provides the added benefit of resistance to multiple rust races. Pods are 12-13 cm in length and range from approximately 20% extra fine to 80% very fine grade. PV-816 can be used as an extra fine bean in Africa, and as a very fine bean in Europe.

Flat Podded Green Beans

ZICO/PV-822 This very fine to fine bean variety has a PV-813 A flat podded green bean variety with a tall but

concentrated setting on an erect and rather vigorous bush, and is mid-early into production. The medium green pods are on average a bit finer than Koala, the variety producing about 60% very fine and 40% fine pods, with a length of around 11 cm.

rather upright bush. PV-813 displayed good heat tolerance in several Spanish trials. The variety has truly flat beans with a pod width of around 22 mm. Pod length is 14-16 cm.

Wax Beans

ONTARIO/PV-765 An earlier Bogey type with a more compact and erect bush. PV-765 shows improved heat tolerance and offers a more uniform pod setting. The variety produces approximately 40% very fine grade and 60% fine grade pods with a length of 12 cm.

PV-833 A medium fine wax bean with an erect plant and very concentrated setting. The uniformly straight beans are of excellent quality and boast a beautiful golden yellow colour. Pods are typically graded into around 80% medium fine and 20% large grade, with a length of about 14 cm.

MESSI/PV-844 This attractive, medium fine bean variety has a sturdy, erect plant that performs well under hot conditions. The fleshy pods are extremely dark in colour and are both long and straight. Pods range from 30% fine to 70% medium fine grade and are 13-15 cm long.
