Say hello to Izi the Snail and her friend Aicher the Frog. Izi and Aicher live in the Magic Forest where they have many exiting adventures. The Magic Forest is a wonderful place to live but there is one problem. Also living in the Magic Forest are two bad slugs called Muggley and Puggley.

One sunny day Izi and Aicher One sunny day Izi and Aicher were going for a walk. It was a lovely day and they had packed a picnic. After a while they came to a large open clearing and decided to eat their picnic. The picnic was full of lovely goodies: cheese sandwiches, tomatoes, cucumber and juice.

After the picnic Aicher was very tired and wanted to go for nap, Izi on the other hand was worried that those bad slugs Muggley and Puggley would come and steal their sweeties. “I’m not worried about those silly bullies” said Aicher bravely. So they lay down on the gras s and soon they were snoring away like two happy pigs in a muddy field. After a while Izi woke from her nap, Aicher was still sleeping so she decided to explore that part of the Magic Forest.

Shortly she came to a secret door. She knew it was a secret door because there was a sign that said SECRET in big red letters. She knocked softly but there was no reply. Very slowly she opened the door and went inside.

When her eyes got used to the light she saw a funny looking rope bridge. She crossed the rope bridge and tackled the next obstacle which was a small tunnel. Crawling through the tunnel she finally came to a ladder.

When she got to the ladder she could smell some banana toffee and wanted to take a closer look. She climbed the ladder (which is quite difficult for a snail) . At the top of the ladder there was another door, it was open just enough for Izi to see inside a large room.

In the middle of the room there was a large pot of bubbling banana toffee. On the other side of the room were Muggley and Puggley, they had their backs towards Izi. They were laughing and joking but Izi could not hear them.
Izi was so interested in the yummy toffee,
she crept forward trying to be as
quiet as possible. What Izi did not see was
the large X painted on the floor and
a fishing net hanging above the X.

It was a trap set by those cunning slugs Muggley and Puggley. Luckily for Izi, Aicher had woken up and had followed Izi all the way into the room. Izi slowly crept forward but before she could get to the X Aicher jumped from the shadows and shouted "Izi it's a trap.. RUUUN!"

Acher grabbed Izi and ran away. Climbing down the ladder ( which is quite difficult for as a snail to do) , through the small tunnel, across the rope bridge and out of the SECRET door. Muggley and Puggley chased after them. As they ran away Izi remembered what her Mummy had said when she left the house that morning �"Do stay away from those naughty slugs and remember that they are scared of water�."

Suddenly Izi had an idea, “Quick” said Izi “this way” and they ran towards Tea Cup Valley. Tea Cup Valley is where all the trees have tea cups on their branches instead of apples, oranges or cherries.

Izi had remembered that it had been raining that morning and that the tea cups would be full of water. They climbed the biggest tree and started to shake the branches and all the water started pour out of the tea cups. Little did Muggley and Puggley know that they were soon to be soaked.

They ran straight into the shower of water and started to cry like babies. “Arrrrgggghhh we hate water� they yelped as Izi and Aicher laughed at them from high up on the tree. They could not stand the water and cried all the back home to their mummy.

That left Izi and Aicher free to stroll home, eating their sweets and retelling the story of their big adventure. They would remember that day for a long time and how they managed to get away from Muggley and Puggley. What an adventure thought Izi and what a great place the Magic Forest is to live.
