Meet Our Firm Peter Brewer has been practicing real estate law for over 35 years. Over that span of time, he has garnered exceptional knowledge and experience in real estate and lending law, both litigation and transactional. Peter started his own law firm in 1995 after working as VP and Assistant General Counsel of one of the nation’s largest real estate lenders. He obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1979 from Santa Clara University School of Law. Attorney Brewer has served on committees for the California Association of RealtorsŽ, Santa Clara County Bar Association, and the California State Bar Association.

Charles S. Bronitsky has been a practicing attorney for over 25 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with Academic Distinction, from the University of California, Berkeley and earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California, Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law. With experience ranging from cases involving hundreds of parties in class action securities matters to single family residential non-disclosure cases, Charles Bronitsky has represented clients of all sizes. In addition to being an attorney, Mr. Bronitsky is an entrepreneur and experienced businessman, having formed, operated, and restructured a diverse number of businesses. Attorney Bronitsky is active with the Foster City City Council, and just completed a one-year term as mayor.

Attorney Julia Wei received her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2001. Prior to studying law, Julia graduate from the University of California at Berkeley and worked as a financial analyst in the software industry. She has extensive experience representing creditors, especially in protecting and recovering equity in real estate investments, and she also has jury trial experience from litigating adversary proceedings in the bankruptcy courts. Attorney Wei has served as VP of the Palo Alto Area Bar Association, the PAC Chair for the California Mortgage Association and a Board Member for the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum.


Simon Offord represents real estate professionals and homeowners involved in property disputes, as well as commercial leasing and HOA issues. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2005 and was named top of his class at Santa Clara University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 2009. Simon is active in the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors®, having most recently served as the Affiliate Chair boardperson. Attorney Offord holds an active Real Estate Broker’s License from the California Bureau of Real Estate and is regularly sought out as a speaker, presenter, author, and guest lecturer locally and regionally.

Attorney Henry Chuang received his Juris Doctorate in 2005 from Emory University School of Law, after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2002. In law school, Henry served as the president of the Environmental Law Society and worked for the Environmental Protection Agency. Attorney Chuang has extensive experience representing hard money lenders and real estate professionals, focusing his practice on bankruptcy and civil litigation. Henry is an active committee member with the Santa Clara County Bar Association, as well as with the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum, SILVAR®, and the Minority Bar Coalition.

Jessica Urioste is the office manager, a paralegal, and the unofficial jack-of-all trades for the firm. She keeps the attorneys in line and on time. Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts from Humboldt State University. Before entering into the legal profession, she worked with the California Department of Corrections where she managed female inmates and assisted them in gaining employment. Following that, she assisted Paul N. “Pete” McCloskey, former congressman and attorney, with his law practice. After Pete’s retirement from law, she was the administrative assistant to one of his former partners.
