From the bride... When we first started planning, we knew we wanted to do a beach wedding, as it has been a central part of our relationship. One of the aspects of the venue itself that appealed to me is the nautical flair in its decor. I liked the classic theme so much that I decided to use it for our wedding decorations as well. The navy color lends itself to the nautical theme, plus I have always loved blues. We decided that rather than using solid navy, we would introduce various navy and white patterns into the decorations. For the flowers, I wanted a color that was both fun and unique, but would also compliment the navy. Our wedding coordinator suggested shades of peach and coral, and I loved the idea.
