Category 6A Solutions There are a number of 10 Gigabit UTP solutions on the market. Only one was born from cable and connectivity innovations that were developed using the standards-based method of component compliance and interoperability. OCC has created a 10 Gigabit Ethernet solution that delivers outstanding system performance, surpassing both the IEEE clause 55.7 link segment characteristics and stringent high frequency performance requirements of ISO and TIA. Designed to provide the ultimate in throughput, the OCC C6A Axcess Solution provides the best Link and Channel performance available and the ultimate in long-term cabling plant value. For those end users who intend to operate over 10 Gigabit Ethernet, but also want the security and reliability of shielded cabling, there is the OCC C6A FTP Axcess Solution. This shielded solution allows the operation of 10 Gigabit Ethernet and prohibits interference from RFI and EMI. Utilizing OCC’s Category 6A FTP cable and shielded Category 6A jacks and patch panels, this solution eliminates all alien crosstalk concerns. Since all four pairs of the cable are concealed within an overall aluminum foil, the proximity of adjacent cables will not impact performance. The OCC Category 6A shielded jacks offer a slim width profile, enabling 24 ports in a single rack space with excellent EMI and alien crosstalk suppression.
