Welcome to Oberon Wireless Enclosures – Secure, aesthetic, convenient Oberon’s product line includes locking wireless access point enclosures for virtually any building construction, indoor and outdoor. This includes wall‐mounted locking enclosures and cut‐away ceiling enclosures for hard lid areas, and NEMA 4 enclosures for outdoor environments. The products are constructed of steel and aluminum and are electrostatically powder coated for an attractive, extremely durable finish. The ceiling enclosures look like a standard 2’ x 2’ ceiling tile, aesthetically concealing the wireless equipment. The products improve wireless infrastructure physical security by allowing the wireless equipment to be “locked down” in otherwise open office spaces. Wireless coverage is improved using the ceiling‐mounted enclosures as the enclosure door provides an effective back‐plane for the antenna, thereby optimizing the antenna pattern for in‐room coverage. Moves, adds, and changes are facilitated by permitting easy access by authorized personnel. When you use Oberon’s ceiling enclosures, once the enclosure is installed, you’ll eliminate the need to lift ceiling tiles in search of above ceiling mounted wireless equipment.
Our locking ceiling enclosures and antenna products preserve the integrity and safety of the ceiling system and air‐ handling space by effectively moving the wireless equipment into a conveniently accessed ceiling location.
Telecommunication Enclosures and Cabinets – Bringing bandwidth closer to the user Oberon’s telecommunications enclosures offer flexibility by securing networking and A/V components in the workspace where they are needed. Mounting access switches in the workspace brings bandwidth closer to the user, and reduces congestion in the telecom room. Manufacturing and Support Oberon’s specialty is wireless and telecom enclosure and mounting solutions, and the products are designed and tested by an experienced technical staff with extensive wireless networking survey, design, and installation experience. Oberon’s products have been tested with most of the industry‐leading wireless networking vendor products.

With many Cisco customers making the migration from the Cisco 1242 to the Cisco 1040/1140/1260/3500/3600 series 802.11n wireless access point, Oberon has designed the 38‐52‐1140/3500/3600 adaptor door so that customers may install the new access point in the existing enclosure, without removing the enclosure from the ceiling. The upgrade simply requires that the existing 1052‐00 door is removed (three interior nuts), the new access point is attached to the adaptor door, and the adaptor door is attached to the enclosure. The upgrade maintains the enclosure’s UL 50 design criteria, and provides the same level of physical security as previously provided. Upgrades are performed without accessing the air handling space above the ceiling.

Ceiling Mount Accessories 36‐SLD15L2TP
Oberon 36‐SLD15L2TP Caddy Speed Link kit for suspending static loads in a suspended ceiling. CADDY® SPEED LINK LD is a universal support system that quickly suspends static loads, even at an angle. It is a cost‐effective alternate to jack chain, threaded rod and associated hardware in wireless enclosures, lighting, ductwork and other installation projects. The 1.5 mm (0.059 inch) wire rope with a crimped‐on hook holds working loads of up to 20 kg (44 lb) with a 5:1 safety factor. Wire rope is 2 m (6.6 ft) long. TWO PER PACKAGE.
36‐SLD15Y500
The CADDY® Y‐toggle is a universal support system that quickly suspends static loads, even at an angle. It is a cost‐effective alternate to using jack chain, threaded rod and associated hardware to mount wireless access point enclosures, telecommunications enclosures, wire trays, etc. The toggles at the ends of the "Y" insert into mounting features in the back box of the ceiling enclosure, allowing quick mounting and leveling of enclosures. The Y‐Toggle meets the fire rating requirements of DIN 4102‐2 for 30 minutes (for galvanized wire rope) and for 90 minutes (for stainless steel wire rope) at 30 percent of rated load, and works with a variety of CADDY® fasteners. The Y‐toggle working load 44 lbs (20kg), and the Y‐ length is 19.6 in. (adjustable after installation).
36‐SFCLT
The CADDY® 36‐SFCLT Seismic Fixture Clamps attach fixtures securely to the ceiling frame member. This set of reinforcing clamps is designed to prevent the T‐bar from twisting and disconnecting at the T‐Bar intersections in a seismic event. The reusable clamps also helps prevent the fixture from separating from the T‐bar framework. They will withstand the force of a standard fire hose. The CADDY® SFCLT family of fixture clamps consists of connectors for 2' x 4' and 2' x 2' light fixtures, as well as for end‐to‐end and side‐by‐side connections of light fixtures and for reinforcement of T‐Bar main runner joints. In addition, they can be used to secure 2' x 2' air diffusers. Each reusable clamp is secured to the fixture and the T‐Bar with two screws. Use of the clamps eliminates the need for two slack wires. The rated load of the CADDY® SFCLT is 10 times the weight of a standard 30‐lb light fixture. The clamp is designed to work together with T‐Bar runners to provide seismic restraint for the fixture without additional chains or cables attached to the fixture itself.
