Collaborative Project Beebreders Competition: Nemrut Volcano Eyes Studio Advisor: Francisco Rodriguez & Rafael Vargas Spring 2018 Location: Cupey, San Juan, Puerto Rico
entrance of the stone-shaped structure draws the visitor inside. Furthermore, the spectator receives diverse and specific views of the site through a spiral stair. At the culmination of the loop, Tephra opens itself towards the volcano. Thus, allowing the visitor to have the feeling of being inside one and providing one last scenic sight.
Nemrut Volcano contains breathtaking views that are inaccessible to the public. The aim of the project consisted of creating a narrative throughout the designed path, by extracting volcanic rocks, thus creating unique panoramic points. All the landmarks have their unique print of the building. As a result, each area gives the visitor glimpses of what will be encounter. At the end of the pathway, the visitant comes face to face with a monumental building named Tephra. Made from the volcanic rocks, it captures the fluid essence of a volcano. The
My task in this project was to focus on the design of the observatory and make the drawings, such as plans, elevations, and sections. I collaborate in the diagrams of the building, as well as developed my own set of renders for the portfolio.

views of the site, thus establishing a direct connection with nature. These social housing cubes are interconnected by a path that, adapting to the slope, guides the visitor/ resident through the forest, and reveals public terraces that pay tribute to natural elements of the site such as the treehouse, fountain, recreational areas and meeting places.
A tree house floats above the site, surrounded by an unexpected forest; the barriers between nature and architecture disappear. Inspired by the secret urban cove, BioGraft fuses the home to the site. Four clusters, each consisting of 6 dwelling units offer a total of 24 homes in the forest. The cube-like shelters respond to the existing trees on the site. Furthermore, they react to the multiplicity of

Site concept diagram This site diagram shows how the orientation of the units respects the majority of the vegetation. It creates a dynamic relationship between private and public views between each dwelling. Also, the modules connect to the main pedestrian circulation, which leads to the tree house and primary plaza.

Connected by a pedestrian runway, it gives the user a changing experience. The visitor only appreciates the project when moves through it. Also, this morphological transition projects to the skin and the roof terraces of the buildings. The first one becomes the new image and first impression of Centergross. An elegant perforated layer designed to project the movement of fashion. The unified nine buildings take advantage of the natural light. Therefore, the spectator can witness the presence that reflects the project. Either by pedestrian, vehicular or air transportation.
Centergross is the capital of fast fashion in Italy and the world. The aim of this project consists of giving a new image to it, to match the innovative work that goes in its interior. This proposal divides into three phases. These aspects being the construction of the main structure, the intervention of the secondary buildings and the urban design. Fashion is a concept that has always been in constant change and innovation. It requires a design process where we conceptualize it, makes it, produces it, and sell it. As a result, the chain of nine buildings becomes a narrative that reflects the design process. A Path Through Fashion is a project whose interior form and program are in constant transformation.
My task was to focus on designing and making all the drawings of the main building. I made the renders and the axonometric diagrams presented. Furthermore, I collaborate in the design of the second and third phase.

indoor pool, while another elevates the view to the mountains. This area has a system of stairs that also functions as a storage room, and at night it becomes the bedroom. The private program, being the kitchen and the bathroom regulated the space to look at the forest. Conclusively, all these spaces converge in the center of the dwelling where a skylight bath them and the guest can appreciate the four extraordinary views the house has to offer.
Located in the heart of Las Curias lake, this tiny house rests over a floating platform of 15 sq.ms. Various elements, such as the lake, the sky, the mountains, the trees, and their sounds forged the landscape that surrounds this project. The house 'TO SEE. TO FEEL' fragments itself in four spaces, that at the same time breaks down the image of the landscape by focusing on every aspect. This way, all the zones become an amplifier of sensations for the guest. The program of the house determines the design and orientation of each volume. One submerges into the lake and becomes an

Collaborative Project Competition: Glade Spring Park Competition Studio Advisor: Francisco Rodriguez & Rafael Vargas Fall 2017 - Spring 2018 Location: Puerto Nuevo, San Juan, Puerto Rico
Inspired by the fragrance Enchanted Floral Garden, this landscaped park has numerous plants that attract the visitor visually and produces pleasant odors. It guides him through a vibrant trail composed of different gardens, where the highlight of those trails is the presence of a flamboyant. Each garden marks zones where the neighborhood of the
parkland JesĂşs T. PiĂąero could use in multiple ways, such as festivals for artisans and musicians. Additionally, enormous amounts of trees can offer families a shelter under its shadows, in the uninvolved zones. My task focused on the design of the park. Also, I made all the drawings, the diagrams, and collaborate on the model. First Place

The purpose of this project was to design a stair from the study and abstraction of a geometric shape. Inspired by the language of the stalagmites, it segments itself in layers that overlap. As a result, creates the stairs and the spaces to transit and inhabit.
Stalagmite is a cave-like stair that breaks all schemes of a typical stair, an element meant as a transitional space. It becomes a place to wander through it and explore. Also, it engages the user with an unusual architecture, that reflects an element of nature, the cave.

Composition This composition represents the abstraction of the square with different textures to generate zones. The resut is a rocky appearance where you can see the squares overlapping and creating a hierarchy between forms.
3D Composition The 2d composition is traduced into a 3d diagram that starts to relate and combine different patterns to create distinctive layers that are fuse and stack on top of each other.
Concept Model The several layers are later stack on top of each other on a 3d model, to start generating spaces and possible stair steps.

Collaborative Project Competition: AIAS RSF Spring 2016 Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico
The competition aims to create a clothing piece, but by only using reuse materials. Truck tires are a dirty item, accumulated in dumps. However, people often forget or do not have the knowledge that is a reused component. For this reason, we took this object as the primary material for the dress and tried to capture the curves and

On the other hand, the top piece, which contains only one module, carved from a single tire. My task was to design the dress and to cut the different modules of it.

WOOD KERFING DESIGN Individual Project Institutional Advisor: Rafael Vargas Spring 2018 Location: University of Puerto Rico
The purpose of this project was to design and make an object, by solely using wood kerfing techniques. The concept of the pattern design originated from the organic form of a plant and their capacity to bend naturally. As for the object, the purpose was to rethink the four-cup takeaway holder. Thus, making a smaller and more customize coffee bag that
can bend and reused. LEAF is a product that can change its state depending on the needs of the user. At first, it seems like this rigid wood panel with a pattern. However, the person can mold it to use it as a coffee bag when needed. In the end, the object returns to its original rigid state once fulfill his purpose.

Dreaming Awake, the composition in the upper left, explores the ground/figure technique. Tells the story of a woman who has all these dreams in her mind and decides to achieve them, thus making them her reality.
Apotheosis of Nature, the composition on the upper right, is a one out of a three series composition. It is a piece where this geometric abstract architecture glorifies the presence of nature.
Melt, the composition on the bottom left, uses the WPAP technique. Is a colorful and bright work that breaks the typical full-face portrait, by disfiguring it. Furthermore, to create depth in the piece, it was divided into zones that showcase their color pallets and shapes of different sizes.
ZABA, the composition on the bottom right, inspires from the music album ZABA of Glass Animals. This work reflects the psychedelic vibe, as well as the modest nature and animals sounds that become the essence of their music. The use of circles and lines were an essential part to project all these elements.
Third and Fourth Place on the anually graphic design ompetition of the School of Architecture, in the University of Puerto Rico.
All the artwork began from hand sketch and then traduce in adobe illustrator.
