Material library Welcome to our selection of sustainable materials. At BRICpro sustainability and ethics are core values of our business, so we continuously push ourselves to improve our supply chain and buying practises. Through our sourcing activities we encounter a wide range of inspiring materials and suppliers that are at the forefront of sustainable development. We started this library in January 2019 to gather all this information in one place and create a source for our customers to learn and find inspiration about the opportunities within sustainable materials. We use the ’sustainable materials’ as an umbrella term for a wide range of materials that cover different aspects of environmentally conscious use of resources, such as recycling, animal welfare and less CO2 consumption. Some materials in this document are already widely used in the industry and others are at a more experimental phase. We are available to answer any questions and inquiries regarding these materials and their applications. Material composition: 88-97% pre-consumer waste flake aluminum and copper, solid surface scrap and recycled acrylic. Or 34-60% fine flake aluminum milling scrap and polyester resin. Recycled ocean waste plastic
Material composition: PE, PET, PP granules made in different blends of recycled plastic. Can be made in 100% recycled plastic and a with a minium of 20% Production technique: Injection or extrusion molding Price: Varies Application: Any items that contains plastic Colors: All colours, but not 100% white. Origin: The plastic is collected in the waters around Indonesia and from rivers in India. The collection is done in collaboration with local fishermen, and is processed in their own facility in Indonesia. Certifications: This plastic is in complience with REACH, but cannot pass FDA, because the federal regulations are not updated to recycled materials. If you want use this material for a food related product, it can be used in combination with an virgin plastic inner layer.
