Heaven on Earth had one of the most beautifully decorated booths at the Houston Extravaganza. The smell of fresh flowers emitted the exhibit hall and created a fairytale setting.

Ali Iqbal Photography’s booth was so beautiful, I could not tell that I was in a convention center. The setting made me believe I was outside camping.

Cute Desserts

These detailed dessert toppings are amazing. The pink flower with layers is cute, but not too cute to eat.

Embroidery on dresses

All bridal gowns have one thing in common, they are beautiful. But the thing that makes them different is the embellishments. This dress has gorgeous pink flowers embroiled into the bodice.

Black Dresses

Black dresses might be a trend, thank you Jenna Ortega. More than one black dress was on display at the Bridal show, not to mention that a few were seen in the Fashion Show, and Gown Gallery. They have captivated my heart.

Pearls

Pearls are elegant, timeless, and a little regal. Pearl accents have been a rising trend in weddings. Whether incorporated on your cake, wedding dress, hairstyle, or all the above, pearls make a classy edition to your special day. Unlike the puffy sleeved wedding dresses from the ‘80s, this a trend that is sure to stand the test of time and look just as beautiful for years to come.

Jeni’s Ice Cream

I recently discovered Jeni’s ice cream while wandering around my local Whole Foods. I was delighted to find out they have multiple storefronts throughout Texas! This ice cream is made from scratch and boasts an incredibly smooth texture with a buttercream-like base. With a wide range of unique flavors to choose from, “Ooey Gooey Butter Cake” wins me over every time.
