AMBER’S EDIT
Chiropractic
Since incorporating chiropractic care into my regular health routine, I’ve experienced improved sleep quality, increased range of motion, reduced headaches, and have been generally more motivated for the day ahead. While many prioritize the exterior details like skin care, hair, nails, and spray tans leading up to their big day, what can’t be seen often takes a back seat and is just as important. Scheduling a few chiropractic appointments during the month before your wedding can help you not only look your best but also feel your best –and ready to kill it on the dance floor! Plus, this could be a fantastic treat for your bridal party or a thoughtful gift for anyone involved in the wedding planning process.
Favorite Things Parties
These parties became very popular over the holidays, but there’s no reason you can’t host one any time of year! So how does it work? Simply, invite the guests you want to attend and ask them to bring their favorite thing in a quantity of two (or however many you choose) within a set budget. For example, if the budget is $20, guests would choose a favorite thing that is around $20 and bring two of those. The Dr. Dennis Gross sample box I referenced earlier is right around $20, so I would bring two of those to the party. At the party, each guest will put their name in a bowl two times and present their favorite thing to the group, explaining what makes it so great and why it’s their favorite. That guest will then draw two names from the bowl and give their favorite thing to the two people drawn. It’s a fun and simple way to exchange gifts, and everyone walks away with two new favorite things!
Poppi
It is not uncommon for brides and grooms to want to be in their best shape for their special day. Personally, one of my largest contributors to bloat was my bad soda habit, specifically Dr. Pepper…my pride and joy. Kicking that bad habit was challenging, but I found a great alternative in Poppi! Poppi is not only a delicious soda alternative, but a prebiotic drink that focuses on gut health and offers great health benefits. Better complexion, digestion, cholesterol, weight loss, and blood sugar are all advertised on their website to be potential benefits from long time consumption of the beverage. The best part? They have flavors that mimic popular soda brands, including Dr. Pepper!
Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peels
Who doesn’t want to have that wedding day glow? And what’s even better is glowing every day. That’s why I highly recommend Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peels as a staple in any skincare routine. This 2-step process works to accelerate cell turnover, eliminate dullness, and promote radiant skin. It effectively removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells with gentle exfoliation. These peels come in three variations, each designed for sensitive, normal, and dry skin types, and can be found at most Sephora locations. Their sample box makes an excellent addition to any bridesmaid’s gift basket.
