Romance Rodeo - Hannah & Colten

Colten and I met at Ponoka Stampede in the summer of 2019. With a few moves in between, we have now settled in Edmonton with our dog Duke. Having our wedding out at my mom and stepdad’s farm, in Sturgeon County, was very special to us as that was the place we first started dating, and also got engaged. The engagement was definitely a surprise, as Colten took me out for a walk and a picnic, then proposed around a heart shaped fire pit. The planning process was truly enjoyable and stress-free thanks to our planner Jennifer. She knew exactly what our vision was for the wedding and brought it to life! The theme we followed for our wedding was “Rustic Country”, with lots of greenery and soft pinks and blues. The day consisted of many (happy) tears, laughs, amazing food and drinks, and lots of dancing, finished by a huge firework show. Our photographer and videographer, Montse and Adrian (OM Storytelling), were such a pleasure to work with and showcased our day perfectly. Although it was a smaller wedding due to COVID, we still got to celebrate with all our loved ones and good friends. Thanks to our planner and amazing vendors, we had the most perfect day!
