Choosing the right wedding dress for your body On your wedding day you want to look like and feel like a princess, your bridal gown is going to be the focus of the day and you want to get the dress right. For a plus size bride – an Empire dress with a skirt that begins just under the bust and flows into a gradual floor-length A-line, look for a style that isn’t pleated (it will look more like a maternity dress) – you want to show your shape, if the dress is too loose it will add kilos.
