• Fill out the online application for a marriage license at mlic.vegas

• Sign up for your FREE .vegas website courtesy of the Las Vegas Wedding Chamber of Commerce

• If you want a family friend to marry you, they MUST apply for a Certificate of Permission to Perform Marriages from the Clerk’s office no later than 30 days before the ceremony

• Grab legal identification for both people (your wedding license will reflect the name on your legal documentation.) If divorced, bring a copy of your divorce decree

• Fly/drive/walk/swim to Las Vegas

• Go to the Las Vegas Marriage License Bureau to apply for your marriage license

• Bring all your marriage license papers to your wedding venue. Say your vows in front of a licensed officiant and a witness

• Check mlic.vegas for your wedding certificate and order for $15.
