CARTWHEEL FOR BEGINNERS

Step 1.

Make sure you have a mat or a safe place to preform the trick.
Pick up your dominate foot and lunge foward placing your dominate hand on the ground.
Now you will be upside down with all your weight on your arms. Make sure to keep your legs straight. Your body should be the in shape of an “X”
Start shifting your weight to your other leg and bring your feet towards the ground.
When your foot lands on the ground imidately start putting your weight into that leg and start pulling up the rest of your body as your other foot lands.
When both feet have landed pull the rest of your body up, and put your arms in the air because you have completed a cartwheel!!
Stand on the mat with your dominate foot in front. Postition your hands up with your palms facing outward. (like a “V” shape).
Kick the other foot upwards while putting your other hand on the ground to hold your weight.

Your non dominate foot should land on the ground first.
