Open 24 hours a day, Aztec Vacations’ friendly, multilingual staff are on hand day and night to welcome guests. All apartment complexes have their own outdoor swimming pool. Most of the beautifully appointed units have spacious terraces to allow dining “al fresco” with mountain or sea views – the perfect place to unwind after an active day.
Luxury apartments comprise one-bedroom (sleeping 4) and two-bedroom (sleeping 6) units. Lounges have a sofa bed which converts into two comfortable single beds. Access to units is via stairs, although some complexes have lifts. Electricity voltage is 220 AC. No pets are allowed.

QROPS (continued) Under UK legislation introduced in 2004, effective from April 2006, expatriates or UK residents who have a demonstrable intention to move overseas may transfer the value of their UK pension rights to a non-UK pension giving the potential for greater flexibility. The transfer must be made to a Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Scheme (QROPS) that is approved by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). QROPS could be of interest to any individual with UK pension funds, who is living or planning to live outside the UK, for the following reasons;
• No requirement to purchase an annuity. • Potential to access benefits 100% tax free. • Increased flexibility in terms of how and when you access your benefits. • Greater choice of investments. • Hold pension funds in the currency of your new home country, removing exchange rate risks. • Pass your pension fund to your beneficiaries upon death free of Inheritance Tax.

QROPS On moving abroad many British expatriates will have left their UK pension rights retained in their existing arrangements. The normal process is as follows: • Information and fact finding by a Pegasus Consultant to ascertain a client’s financial and other circumstances, needs and objectives, time horizons, and attitude to, and appetite to risk. • Agreement of whether the client wishes to pay Pegasus a fee for the work to be undertaken or as an alternative where Pegasus receives a commission from the product provider. Where there is no commission from the product provider, Pegasus will agree a fee basis for the work that has been undertaken before giving the advice in full. • Assessment of these circumstances against the appropriate solutions available. • Written advice to the client outlining any recommendations together with the costs and process of implementation etc. • Implementation process whereby the client, through the Financial Planning Consultant in Spain, instructs Pegasus to proceed with the recommendations. • Investments are placed by Pegasus’ head office and any certificates etc. are sent to the client or handed to them by their Pegasus consultant. • In exceptional circumstances Pegasus may (in advance only) agree to act for a client to place an investment on an “execution only” basis, where no advice is given.
