Phoria’s headline slot at the Brightonsfinest Alternative Escape showcase will be the first show for the band in 2018. We will be having an exclusive interview with them beforehand to see what they’ve been up to.
Tipped by many to become the next big Brighton act, Thyla have been busily building their reputation with a succession of support slots and now it’s time for Millie and the gang to step up as major artists in their own right.
DON’T MISS: PICK OF THE WEEK
Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll is celebrating the tenth birthday of the Ride-toWork scheme with the release of ‘Heartwork’, an experimental techno track based entirely on the heartbeats of Britain’s cycling commuters. Apart from last year’s stand-alone single ‘Eye to Eye’, Blood Red Shoes’ dark new rocker ‘God Complex’ is the first release from the duo since 2014. Currently touring the US, they’ll be back for 2000trees Festival in July.

Live Reviews
Album Releases
Noel Gallagher let the music speak for itself throughout his set at the Brighton Centre with songs from Who Built the Moon? sounding brilliant in a live environment. ‘Fort Knox’s Screamadelica vibe and ‘Holy Mountain’s psychrock propulsion were two of the highlights from the new record. However, the biggest surprise of the night had to be the brilliant ‘Dead in the Water’- a glimmering acoustic song he recorded off the cuff several years ago.
