The Bribie Island Butterfly House is not only home to native butterflies but also hosts many non-native species of butterfly. It is almost guaranteed butterflies will land on heads, shoulders and fingers, creating opportunities for great photos and memories

OPENING HOURS: Wednesdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.

The Butterfly House is located at 208 First Avenue, Bongaree, on Bribie Island. Bribie Island is around a one hour drive from Brisbane CBD and features beautiful beaches and is close to The Abbey Museum and The Sandstone Point Hotel.

GOLD COAST BUTTERFLY HOUSE

The Gold Coast Butterfly House is a combination of butterfly house and education centre. Kids will have an opportunity to learn about the life cycle of the butterfly in addition to spending time in the butterfly house where butterflies flitter around and feed on fruit.

What we love about the Gold Coast Butterfly House is their desire to educate kids and encourage families to start their own butterfly gardens.

OPENING HOURS: Thursday - Saturday from 10am to 2pm.

• $25 for a family
