THE QUEENSLAND MUSEUM D I S C OV E RY C E N T R E The Queensland Museum Discovery Centre is laid out like a small but intriguing maze of towering glass cabinets; each one housing another family or species or collection for visitors to view. Located on the 4th floor of the Queensland Museum, it sits alongside the popular Wild State Gallery. If your child has burning questions about nature, then this is the place to go! The new Discovery Centre is also now home to a few permanent live residents for guests to marvel at and interact with. These include: • Giant arachnids (aka spiders) • Green tree pythons • Leaf-tail geckos • Huge stick insects
