Strawberry Picking Season is here!!!
PICK YOUR OWN STRAWBERRIES
One of our favourite activities to do with kids in winter is to take them strawberry picking. It doesn’t matter how old they are, or even if they don’t like strawberries, because everyone loves strawberry picking! Entry to the fields is free, and you will pay per kilo at the end of the pick.
WHEN TO GO
The main strawberry picking season in Brisbane is between May and October. Always check out your local farms for strawberry season dates and open times. Most strawberry fields in Queensland have a Facebook page, which will advise of opening times and if there are any potential issues caused by weather.
