JONATHAN BRADLEY, a retired UWE Lecturer in Business Studies, is also the father OBs Sarah and John.

ANYA CLEGG won the History Essay Prize 2019 as a Year 7 pupil with her story ‘A Roman Style Murder’.

LEILA CORDEY is a Year 10 pupil.

ALISON DENNY is a specialist teacher assessor in the Learning Support Department.

JONATHAN EDWARDS won the Costa Prize with his first book of poems, My Family and Other Superheroes His second collection, Gen, is a Poetry Book Society Recommendation.

CARRIE ETTER has published four collections of poetry, winning the London Festival Poetry Prize and a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. She is Reader in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University, and her most recent book is The Weather in Normal.

HOLLY EWING is an Upper Sixth student.

CHARLIE GROOMBRIDGE is a Year 8 pupil.

KATE GROOMBRIDGE is a BGS parent, and a very creative person, which, with her occupation as a Project Manager, may seem surprising. She wanted to create a poem which captured the vibe of Bristol, and she did.

GEORGINA HAMILTON-JAMES is an OB studying English and Creative Writing at Manchester University.
