Feeding Relationships (KS3)

Explore interactions and interdependencies between plants, humans and other animals, whilst also discovering the importance of insect pollination for human food supply.

Discover amazing adaptations of predators and prey in this hands-on session. Learn about food webs, toxins in a food chain, trophic levels, and mutual benefits.

Extreme Ecosystems (KS3, KS4) Compare how humans and other animals live in both polar and hot deserts. Find out about the key physical characteristics of each of these exciting yet challenging environments.

Art Alive! (KS3, 14-19) Join us for a unique opportunity to explore ideas using an amazing selection of nature biofacts (skins, bones, and stuffed specimens). Bring sketchbooks or cameras to record colour, texture, shape and form.

zooropia Voyage on our adventure ropes course, giving your class the opportunity to swing alongside some of our most popular animals at the Zoo, including gorillas, gibbons and lemurs. ZooRopia takes you on an exciting route around the centre of the Zoo, traversing 17 sections themed around tree-dwelling animals, including a net ramp, looped vines, and a balance beam before finishing with a thrilling zip wire ride.
