Course Details
ENGLISH PLUS EXPLORE MALTA
15 hours/week
We use a special short course syllabus which focuses on improving the core skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening through immersive activities and project work. Lessons are interactive and engaging, providing a natural platform for students to practise their English. After lunch, students will be taken on afternoon excursions in and around Malta, providing the opportunity to practise their English language skills in reallife contexts. Excursions may include Valletta, Mdina, 3 Cities, and more.

ACTIVITIES Sandy
Mdina
Known as the Silent City, this fortified city built on a hill, offers students the possibility to walk through the quaint narrow streets and admire the stunning views.
3 Cities
The fortified cities of Cospicua, Senglea and Vittoriosa are collectively known as ‘The 3 Cities’ located around the Grand Harbour offering breathtaking views of the capital Valletta on the other side of the harbour.

Malta’s capital city and Capital of Culture 2019, bursting with architectural gems and churches. Entrance to Valletta CoCathedral included.
Gozo (Optional)
Malta’s sister island is stepped in time where traditions remain alive and the beaches are truly stunning.
Comino
The magical Blue Lagoon is the most well-known beach in Comino which also boasts many smaller and brilliant turquoise blue coves and beaches.
BSC Young Learners provide an enriching excursion program, where students will be given the opportunity to enjoy unsupervised time within some of the most culturally vibrant locations in their course town.

English Plus Explore Malta
Perfect for students excited about travel who want to discover this beautiful mediterranean island.
Discovering Malta is an exciting way for students to learn about a new culture whilst developing their English language skills. On the English Plus Explore Malta course, Young Learners will have English lessons as well as daily excursions to famous sights and locations. They will meet students from all around the world, practising their English in real-life situations to improve their skills quickly, accurately and with confidence.

On completion of this course, students will:
