Online English for Young Learners Your child can learn English from home with highly-qualified British Study Centres teachers through our Online English for Young Learners programme. With materials developed in partnership with National Geographic Learning, this online programme is interactive and dynamic to keep young students engaged.

Available: Fully online delivered through Zoom software Start dates: 4 May 2020 Age range: Children aged 8 to 17 Course levels: Elementary to Advanced (Beginner level students please contact us for consultation) Price: ÂŁ60 per person/ per week (minimum booking is one week) Technical Requirements: Wi-Fi or internet access. Laptop or PC with webcam, microphone and speakers.

Lessons: Students will take part in four online lessons per week and choose from the following times, all times are UK. (BST/GMT): TUESDAY

10:00 - 1 x 50 min lesson 16:00 - 1 x 50 min lesson THURSDAY

10:00 - 1 x 50 min lesson 16:00 - 1 x 50 min lesson

SATURDAY

10:00 - 2 x 50 min lessons 16:00 - 2 x 50 min lessons * Students can only select one lesson time per day


What is the Online English course like? Students on an Online English for Young Learners course have four lessons each week working on their main English skills. Delivered by highly-qualified native-level speakers, students will work on exciting online projects with their teacher and peers. Students will have access to our online learning platform myBSC during the course and for three months after.

A flexible approach to learning Our Online English courses are perfect for students that want to work on their language skills while connecting online with students from all parts of the world. Fun, interactive lessons and class projects help students to practise their English in different situations, as well as developing their problem solving and independent learning skills.

Course Outcomes On completion of this specially designed course, students will: • Have developed their language skills through communicative online activities • Have worked on their problem solving skills using creativity • Have worked on online projects with their peers • Have improved their digital competency in the context of online learning • Have gained confidence in speaking English • Have virtually met and learned from native-level English speakers • Have their English level assessed using BSC's in-house level checker • Be a more independent learner • Have had a transformational learning experience and developed 21st century skills
