The BPF coordinates the British pavilions of exhibitors at the leading foreign plastics trade fairs. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions, most of the exhibitions were either postponed or cancelled in 2021. Chinaplas 2021 (Shenzen, 13-16 April, 2021) took place but was attended primarily by local visitors as foreign delegates could not travel to China.

In 2021, the BPF ran a number of webinars to support BPF members who trade internationally on topics such as: ‘How to Access Zero Tariffs from a Free Trade Agreement’, ‘The Internationalisation Fund’, ‘Turkey Key Plastic Sectors and Opportunities in 2021’. Recordings of these webinars are available to BPF members within the webinar archive.

In 2022, the BPF will be coordinating the British Pavilion at K 2022, taking place 19-26 October in Dusseldorf, Germany.
