Pop of Texture Bridal Fashion Show
Goals and Concepts !
For my fashion show I decided to bring a “Pop of Texture” to
the wedding dresses. I added different textures, colors, and edgy looks to wedding dresses that have not been seen before. In honor of “Pop of Texture” I will be hosting the Fashion Show in July of 2014 for the new brides who want a little something more than an original wedding. I will be showing designs from Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang, Louis Vuitton, as well as timeless dresses made from Alexander Mcqueen. The reason why I chose to showcase original wedding dresses as well as colorful, and edgy is because I want the summer 2014 collection of wedding dresses to pop and stand out from everyone else. There are a lot of feminine pieces as well as structural, and one of a kind.
Goals and Concepts The location, decor, and music will be all based off of a an original wedding that will be located next to the old Water Tower to give the old church feel. I want all of our models to me timeless, elegant, and give of the modern “princess� feel. This is why I chose sponsors that would be elegant and non overwhelming. !
The ambiance I am trying to create at the event will be an elegant yet
edgy bridal experience. I will provide a white table clothed tables with Stargazer Lilly as the center pieces to give the sense of elegance. Each table will have a certain Sponsor or Drink that can be located. There will be a nice tall pyramid of Sprinkle Cupcakes located as the middle table. Also included will be a table with champagne and drinks as well as tables with some food and snacks.

Venue and Staging !
My fashion show will take place in the old Water Tower. This is located on the
cross streets of Chicago and Michigan Avenue. I am proud to know the mayor of Chicago helped block off a few major streets in Chicago for this fashion show to take place. I will be having him as one of our main VIP guests to thank him for making this happen. Since he is at the top VIP guests lists, he will be able to pic the seating location of his choice.
