HOUSING SCHOOL: MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY STUDIO III HOUSING SEMESTER: FALL 2020 PROFESSOR: DALE GREEN THOUGH THE HOUSING STUDIO DID NOT SPECIFIY A SITE I FOCUSED ON THE ISSUE OF GROWING GENTRIFACATION AND SITUATED THE STUDIO IN PHILADELPHIA. TO ADDRESS THE GROWING GENTRIFACATION WITH THE POINT BREEZE COMMUNITY AND HOW REALTY COMPANIES LIKE OFC REALTY HAVE GONE INTO MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES AND DESIGNED FOR NEW RESIDENTS WITHOUT ACCOUNTING FOR THE LACK OF ACCESS TO BASIC AMENTIIES FOR THE EXISITNG RESIDENTS. The unit developed provides a live work environment for homeowners with entrepenural endeavors retail spaces at the ground floor of each unit empowers the user to use the space for a variety of commercial uses providing a source of income to the home buyer whether they use the space for thier personal business or decide to rent the space out to a commercial tenant. SCHOOL: COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY GSAPP INTRODUCTION TO ARCHITECTURE SEMESTER: SUMMER 2021 CRITIC: JARRETT LEY This project investigated colonial practices imposed on the neighborhood of Harlem. Exploring time through visual studies of Harlem, I visualized spatial inequities in Harlem produced by the expansion of Columbia University in the vicinity.

FINAL CONCEPT MEDIUM: Photogrametry, Rhino, Vray, Maya This intervention uses the existing building of fayweather as a space to facilitate community engagement in the harlem area. The intervention carves a two storie space out for a gallery/ exhibition space for black artists and has space allocated for urban design student to work in studios that focus on community action iniiatives. In morning side hieghts and the greater new york area. Facade treatments are from preliminary sketch and model concepts and have been developed to create the image below.

PRESERVATION (PROFESSIONAL) INTERNSHIP WITH SCB & ASSOCIATES SPRING 2020 SUPERVISOR: DALE GREEN CLIENT: AFRO NEWS PAPER During the summer of 2020, I interned with Sulton Campbell, britt, and associates. I was tasked with the existing documentation through onsite measurement and drafting the 50 sheet Upton mansion schematic set. During the first phase of this project, I visited the site and measured the building interior and exterior to reference in CAD software for documentation. Once existing documentation was complete, I assisted with the design of the addition to the building for the Afro News Paper Headquarters.
