BROADWAY STUDIO THEATRE | ARCHIVE 2011-2012
A Performance Times
and the Broadway Studio present William Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM Hermia loves Lysander. Demetrius is hooked on Hermia. He's pursued by Helena, but no one's keen on her. With mischief lurking in the forest and a troupe of actors in the way, magic's going to turn their world upside down. Gameshow's supercharged take on this classic tale combines a relish for Shakespeare's verse with original music and a tight ensemble cast. Matthew Evans (JMK Directors' Award winner 2010) directs this vibrant and fun black comedy. Praise for Gameshow's 'The Jewish Wife' at the BAC: "brilliantly detailed work" - Tom Morris, Artistic Director, Bristol Old Vic "One of the most exciting and experimental JMK pieces to date" - South London Press "Deftly executed" - Time Out "
