PRINCIPAL’S CORNER

Most of our students have finished the Illinois Assessment of Readiness State Assessment. Thank you, parents, for encouraging your child/children to do their best. It can be a very stressful time for both students and staff.

It is hard to believe we have so little time left in the school year. We want the children to continue to work hard and be prepared for the next grade. The students have been working very hard to meet their academic goals. I am very proud of all their efforts. We are working hard to ensure that every child feels pride in achieving success.

School Hours

Students’ school day is from 8:30 a.m. until 3:10 p.m.

Students should not arrive earlier than 8:10 a.m.

Parents, I would like to take a moment to THANK YOU for your hard work this year. You are all vital to the success of students.

As a season, Spring is a time when we get a sense of rejuvenation, a belief that things will be brighter and warmer, and a renewed energy to put our best foot forward.

Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to our teachers and staff at Brookwood Jr. High School. They are doing an excellent job keeping students engaged, learning, and excited about school each day. We are so lucky to have such a hardworking group of individuals.
