ISSUE: 008 / APRIL YEAR: 2022
BROOKWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL Spring is here and excitement is in the air, we are continuing to have a wonderful year of learning here at Brookwood Middle School. As always, we greatly appreciate the combined efforts of all as we support our students in successfully meeting the highest of standards set before them! As we enter the month of April, our staff will continue to introduce and review rigorous academic topics and content across both grade levels and subject areas. With roughly four (4) weeks remaining before our last round of benchmark testing, it is imperative that our students are present each day and eager to actively participate in applying the purposeful teaching and learning taking place. During that testing window, please be sure to support your students by having them at school on time each day, having had a good, nutritious breakfast, and well-rested from the night before.

Parents did you know that if your child is absent, you can request a recorded version of their teacher’s lesson? We want to keep students on track, and this is a great way for ensuring students don’t fall behind if they miss a class. You can also request a recorded lesson if your child is struggling and they need to see the lesson again. Please reach out to your child’s teachers and take advantage of this great resource.
