ISSUE: 003 / NOVEMBER YEAR: 2021
LONGWOOD SCHOOL CANVAS PAINTING FOR STUDENTS... Our Kindergarten through 4th grade students are participating in a fun class of canvas painting. Our instructor, Christine Hnatusko, guides the students in a step-bystep process to re-create an illustration similar to the one on display. The class focuses on creativity, observation, and following directions.
Parent-Teacher Conferences Monday, November 8th | 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. We are inviting parents to meet with their child’s teacher during ParentTeacher Conferences. For this year’s conference, you can choose to meet in person or virtually. Due to Covid-19 safety, we ask that students not attend in-person meetings. Look for an invitation from your child’s teacher to make an appointment. Your child’s teacher will talk about your child’s grades, classwork, homework, and behavior. You will learn more about your child’s classes and find out if your child has any problems. You can help the teacher by talking about what your child likes to do, family events that may be affecting your child’s learning, and special learning needs and concerns.
