In honor of the several national holidays this month for novel writing, Authors Day, Indie Author’s Day, Nonfiction Day and I Love to Write Day, we’ll be holding a Local Authors Book fair at Main Library. This is an opportunity for free workshops on self-publishing, editing, writing and for networking opportunities. More good news for your inner wordsmith: through BCL, you can create, edit, format and generate print-ready and eBook formats for your book at no charge using BiblioBoard. Try your hand -- all great works begin with a first word. And remember to express yourself in another format as well: the voting booth.
Early Voting for the November 5, 2024, General Election takes place from October 21st to November 3rd, and many libraries are polling places and precincts. Please call any Broward County library or the Broward County Supervisor of Elections if you have questions. Your vote is all-powerful, but only if you cast it.
