BE SAFE!

It’s necessary for the library to have some rules of behavior so that the space is inviting, safe and conducive to library use.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

• Behaviors that disrupt the safe, secure, stable and pleasant use of the library

• Behaviors that threaten or endanger library customers or staff

• Illegal actions that endanger customers or staff

If you would like a copy of the library’s Customer Code of Conduct, please ask a staff member. Part of the agreement between the customer and library for a library card and its use includes agreeing to rules contained in the Customer Code of Conduct.

Please note that our materials selection policy states: “Responsibility for children’s use rests with their parent or legal guardian.” This means that parents and guardians are the sole judge of what their children read, attend, view or borrow at the library.
