4) Show Gratitude People are more likely to follow someone they feel is grateful for having them on the team. This is why leaders should always show their gratitude when others go above and beyond. By being thankful, you both let people know how much you value their contributions and inspire them to work harder in the future.


5. Admit When You Are Wrong One of the worst things a leader can do is hide when they make mistakes. This often leads people on your team to question whether or not you should be trusted with another essential task.

You are a good leader by admitting when you are wrong and demonstrating how you will address this problem to prevent it from happening again.
