No Mercy for The Dead
Prologue
Samuel Rudd stood staring out the window in his expensive Saville Row suit at the city scape from his penthouse apartment on the top floor of Khalifa Tower in Dubai thinking to himself about what he had just accomplished. He was now the world’s richest man with a net worth of over $100 billion dollars. He did it. He beat everyone at their game and now he was the man on top. He was the face on Fortune magazine. He was Time magazines man of the year. He was a miracle man and he ran the show. At 35 years of age he had surpassed his wildest dreams in accomplishing a task he set out ten years before to 1
No Mercy for The Dead accomplish…to find a cure for the number one plague of mankind…Death! Because of him Rudd Pharmaceuticals Corporation was now the largest and most powerful drug manufacturer in the world and the sole manufacturer and distributor of the cure thanks to Samuel’s hard work and dedication over the years. He and his company were worth billions now. When Rudd spoke the world listened. But his climb to global success wasn’t based on hard work and dedication alone. It was based on a deal he made years before with a silent partner. A silent partner that was responsible for the cure. A silent partner that gave him the cure and the secret disease that came with it. A silent partner not of this world and with a sinister agenda of their own. “They are waiting for you Mr. Rudd.” His assistant Jasper White said to him as he stood mesmerized at the view before him. “Amazing isn’t it? It took years to build the world’s largest tower and thousands of workers from all over the world. And here I stand looking down on them as if I was their god. Today… I am their god. 2
No Mercy for The Dead Look at all of them down there Jasper scurrying about like ants. Look at them. They will pay any price I set to be free of disease and to be immortal and do anything I wish.” Rudd said as he turned to his assistant. “Today you will be viewed as a god sir. But a god that has to answer to someone. They are waiting to talk to you sir. You know how they don’t like waiting.” Jasper said looking at Rudd nervously. “Yes, of course. Let’s get on with it.” Rudd said as he turned from the window and the amazing view. He moved to his desk and sat down and took out a small sphere from his pocket and waved his hand over it and then placed it on the desk. A hologram of an alien creature appeared before him. “Is everything in place Rudd? Are things ready for the release?” The strange looking alien said to him. “Everything is as it should be. In a few minutes I will be announcing the cure for the number one affliction in history since the beginning of life and with it the distribution of the drug. Everything is going according to our plan.” Rudd said to the alien. 3
No Mercy for The Dead “Good. Very good Rudd. We have made you rich beyond your wildest dreams and now in turn you will keep your part of the agreement.” “Of course. I have no intention of backing out now. Why would you think I would back out now?” Rudd replied “Just a little reminder of what will happen if you fail Rudd.” The alien said as the video changed to display a man that appeared dead and decaying. But the man was still moving. Still standing. He was a zombie. The video changed back to the alien. “Don’t forget who you work for Rudd and what can happen if you fail us. We will be monitoring things.” The alien said as the hologram ended. Rudd straightened his tie and stood up. He was shaken. He knew the aliens had little tolerance for failure. Dealing with the Krehlians always made him nervous. He looked at his assistant as he buttoned his suitcoat. “Let’s do this.” He said as they headed for the door. It was time for an historical press conference that will change the world and make Samuel Rudd a

No Mercy for The Dead god among men. Or so the Krehlians had led him to foolishly believe all these years.

No Mercy for The Dead
Chapter 1
A frigid wind blew mercilessly across the barren roads and abandoned buildings of Reunion Island as Valerie guided the invisible X90 to an open field just outside of the only village on the small isolated island of Reunion. Population before the zombie plague was 621. Mostly poor fishermen and their families. Now the population was zero. The Krehlians had used the isolated island as a testing grounds and infected the inhabitants of the island with the hopes of starting a zombie apocalypse that would wipe out life on Earth. It wasn’t the first time they’ve tried something like this and it wouldn’t be the last. The Black Plague that killed millions centuries before 7
No Mercy for The Dead was their doing as well as the AIDS epidemic and the Ebola virus to name a few of their attempts at riding the world of humans. The Krehlians were always looking for a way to reclaim the Earth as theirs and would stop at nothing to do it. What stood in their way was the Arushians, their ancient enemy and the Global Order Directive a group of world leaders that had joined together to guide the world and protect it from the Krehlians assaults. After extensive scans of the island Valerie was unable to pick up any signs of life living or dead on the island. It was a mystery. A mystery that needed to be solved quickly. If the former occupants of the island were taken to a populated area, then an apocalypse was about to start that couldn’t be stopped. Jack and Maxwell put on protective gear as the jet landed and they prepared to search for clues as to what happened and where the zombies might have gone. “Keep an eye out for any Krehlian ships Valerie. They might show up knowing we are here looking around.” Maxwell said as the door to the jet opened and he headed for the stairs. 8
No Mercy for The Dead “Yes Maxwell. The last time I detected the zombies they were grouped together on the shore not far from here. They wouldn’t go near the water. Salt water has a negative effect on them so they stay a safe distance from it.” Valerie said. “What do you mean has a negative effect on them?” Jack asked. “From test I’ve been able to run salt water increases the deterioration of decaying flesh and kills the virus. The longer they are exposed to it the more damage it causes. One zombie actually disintegrated when it fell off a cliff into the ocean on the other side of the island. I noted it in the records.” Valerie replied. “So salt water kills them?” Jack asked. “Yes. If a zombie is submerged in salt water such as ocean water it will disintegrate. Salt water seems to have the same effect as acid. I’ve been running experiments with the virus and found that salt water does kill the virus. I’ve been working on a serum to use on anyone infected with the virus. It’s possible to save them if the serum is administered within the first hour after infection but I don’t know if 9
No Mercy for The Dead it will work on the modified zombies yet. I still need to run a few more test.” Valerie replied. “That could be helpful.” Maxwell said as he and Jack stepped off the jet. “Let’s get to the location where they were last and see if there are any clues of what happened.” Jack said. “Valerie? What about the zombies found on the Krehlian ship at the South Pole? Can they still be affected by salt water?” Jack asked. “No. That is one of the changes I detected in the zombies onboard the Krehlian ship. Salt water does not affect them at all. There seems to be a microscopic film coating the zombies that may be protecting them from the effects of salt water.” Valerie replied. “Great...water proof virus carrying zombies. Just what we need. What if the Krehlians took the rest of the zombies and changed them? Made them tolerant to the effects of salt water?” Jack replied. “Then that would mean the zombies would be able to enter the water and move anywhere they wanted. The salt water was what was keeping them 10
No Mercy for The Dead from leaving the island. They are dead and don’t need to breath so they could just walk across the ocean floor if they wanted.” Maxwell replied as they reached the location where the zombies were seen last. Jack took out a device that could examine the ground for DNA from dead skin cells that may have been left by the zombies in the area the zombies were last seen. He studied the display looking for any clue that might tell him something. He found something. “I think I got something guys.” Jack said as he headed for Maxwell who was running the same test not far from him. “What is it?” Maxwell asked. “Look…follow me. You see here...the tracks lead right to the ocean over here.” Jack said as he and Maxwell followed the path on the display. They reached the shoreline and Jack continued walking and looking at the display on the device. He waded into the ocean up to his knees before going back to dry ground. “It’s official…the zombies entered the ocean here and are moving in that direction.” He said as he put the device away. 11
No Mercy for The Dead “They are protected from the effects of salt water now. They could be anywhere by now. Shit!” Maxwell said as he and Jack headed back to the X90. “Valerie can you scan below the ocean surface?” Jack asked. “Yes, I can use a satellite interface. We have a NASA satellite in orbit overhead that is capable of mapping the ocean floor. I can make an adjustment and follow the tracks from the shore in the direction the zombies are headed in.” Valerie replied. Jack and Maxwell climbed onboard the jet and took off their protective suits and hurried to sit down and look at the display from the hologram. The X90 lifted off and hovered over the ocean as Valerie picked up the tracks that the zombies left deep under water. “From what I can calculate from the satellite images the zombies are headed on a course that will take them to the Philippine islands. Mindanao to be exact. Population 3 Million.” Valerie said. “Oh shit!” Maxwell replied. “Can you detect the zombie’s location right now Valerie?” Jack asked.
12
No Mercy for The Dead “Yes. I found them or it could me a bio mass of sea creatures like crabs but I’m pretty certain it’s the zombies. They are approximately 400 miles from Mindanao moving at a speed of approximately ten miles per hour. They will reach Mindanao in a few days.” Valerie replied. “That doesn’t give us much time.” Maxwell said. “Is there any way to stop them while they are on the ocean floor?” Jack asked. “I am determining a method of possible actions. We could send a submarine to fire torpedoes at them but due to the possibility that they might be altered like the zombies from the Krehlian ship we risk spreading the virus if their body fluids come in contact with water now that the Krehlians have altered them.” Valerie replied. “But you said salt water kills the virus?” Jack said. “Yes, but I’m not 100 percent certain about it if the virus has been mutated. I need to run more test. It’s a risk I don’t think we should take.” Valerie replied. 13
No Mercy for The Dead “So what do we do? Let them reach Mindanao and infect millions of people? There has to be a way to stop them.” Jack asked. “Why are they headed for Mindanao in the first place?” Maxwell inserted. “What do you mean?” Jack said. “I mean why there? Is there something drawing them to Mindanao?” Maxwell replied. “Valerie are you picking up any signals coming from Mindanao that are unusual?” “I am scanning all known transmissions….” Valerie replied. “What do you mean? Something is attracting the zombies to the island? How can they hear it if they are under water?” Jack asked. “The same way dolphins use sonar. It’s possible there is a signal attracting the zombies and directing them to the island.” Maxwell replied. “You are right Maxwell. I finished my scan and found a sonar signal coming from Davao on Mindanao directed at the zombies.” Valerie reported. “Target the location of the signal and set course Valerie.” Maxwell said. 14
No Mercy for The Dead “Looks like there is more going on here than we thought.” Jack said. “Yes. Someone other than the Krehlians are involved it seems. Someone on Mindanao perhaps.” Maxwell replied as the X90 headed for its new destination. All of a sudden the X90 stopped moving and was frozen in place as well as Maxwell. But not Jack. He looked around wondering what was going on. “Valerie? What the hell is happening? Why isn’t Maxwell moving? Why isn’t the jet moving?” Jack asked but Valerie gave no response. In an instant the jet was flooded with a bright light and then Jack disappeared from the X90.

No Mercy for The Dead
Chapter 2 The bright light disappeared and Jack was left standing on a white lighted platform surrounded by darkness. Was this a Krehlian ship he thought to himself? Did they just abduct him? Are they going to try and kill him again or torture him? He looked around to get a sense of the place and two people stepped out of the darkness. It was a man and a woman dressed in flowing white robes trimmed with gold. They were familiar to him somehow. There was something about them that put him at ease and also brought anger. Closer to him they came until finally they were standing in front of him and Jack could get
17
No Mercy for The Dead a good look at them. His gut feelings were right. It was his parents. “Mom? Dad?” Jack said staring at them. “Yes Jack, it’s us. It’s been a long time. Well, long for you. For me and your father it’s only been two weeks Earth time.” Jacks mother said as she reached out to embrace her son. Jack took a step back to not allow it. “Two weeks? You’ve been gone for over 30 years. You both left me when I was a kid. You just up and left me!” Jack said in anger. His parents looked at each other for a moment before trying to explain. “We’re sorry Jack but what we did was for the best. It was too dangerous to take you with us. We had extremely urgent matters to attend to on Arushia. We knew Master Lee would take good care of you and protect you and educate you. We were very careful of who we chose for the task. We are truly sorry for having to leave you. It’s been 30 years because of the distance we’ve had to travel to Arushia and back.” Jacks father said. “Sorry? Ha-ha! Ok you’re sorry. Thanks for saying you’re sorry, that makes up for everything over 18
No Mercy for The Dead the last 30 years. So what’s this all about? Why, what and when? Why am I here? What the hell do you want and when can I get out of here?” Jack said giving out a laugh. He wasn’t amused. He had been quite angry for years being left alone at the monastery. All that time he believed they were dead and then he found out they weren’t dead and that he was part alien. He had been put through a lot. “Jack we can understand you’re a little confused and angry. Let us explain some things to you. Things you need to know.” Jacks father said. “Go ahead dad I’m all ears. You have my full attention seeing how I probably can’t leave here.” “You probably know by now that you are part human and part Arushian. What you don’t know is that soon you’re going to be going through some changes. Your Arushian DNA has been dormant most of your life but soon it will awaken and rewrite your human DNA. You’re going to go through some biological changes. Changes that will make you very different than other people.” Jacks mother said. “Changes? What? Am I going to grow a tail or something?” Jack said. 19
No Mercy for The Dead “No not a tail Jack. Don’t be silly. For one thing you will stop aging you will live for a very long time, thousands of years and your body will be able to heal very quickly. Your hearing and eye sight abilities will increase as well as your strength. You will be able to communicate with other beings telepathically. The nanites that are inside you will be dissolved by your Arushian DNA. You won’t need them anymore. We needed you to know these things before it happens to prepare you. You’re going to be in a coma for a few days while your Arushian DNA rewrites your human DNA.” Jacks mother said. “Well that’s wonderful. Awesome. You came millions of light years just to let me know this? Well thanks. I’ll let my health care provider know about it. Can I go now?” Jack said. “We also came to talk to you about your destiny.” Jacks father said. “Destiny? My destiny at one time was being a father and a husband or so I thought. But they were killed because of the Krehlians. Because of your war. Now I’m an alien hunter. Is that the destiny your talking about?” Jack said. 20
No Mercy for The Dead “Jack you are the very first child of a human and an Arushian that has survived this long. Arushians and humans have mated in the past but the offspring never survive as long as you have. Only a handful made it to their 20th birthday. Me and your mother are the leaders of the Arushian people and you are our son the prophecy tells of your coming and how you will lead the humans to their place in the galaxy. You Jack are the one that will destroy the Krehlian empire once and for all.” Jacks father said. “Why me? What’s so special about me?” Jack asked. “You might think that because you choose a life as an assassin that you’re not an agent of good Jack. But you are. There is no black or white side to things in the Universe Jack. Everything is just shades of grey. Sometimes violence is the only option when there is no other and you know this. But you also have a heart and a soul that can love and care for others or else you wouldn’t have come back to G.O.D. You could have just stayed in Montana and lived out your life but you chose not to. You chose to be involved in a conflict that has been raging for as long 21
No Mercy for The Dead as anyone can remember. We know pretty much everything that’s been going on in your life Jack. We get reports.” Jacks father said. “Jack think about the good you can do for humanity. Think about the countless lives you can save. Soon Earth will be government by one leader. That leader will be you Jack. There will be no more wars, no more starvation, no more crime or disease. Earth will have a future that is about peace and prosperity for all of its inhabitants. That is what your destiny truly is Jack. To be there leader and guide them to that future.” Jacks mother said. “Where were you when I needed you both all these years? Where were you for your granddaughter? She would have loved to of had grandparents.” Jack said. “We are sorry about Lucy and Mary. We would have loved to meet her and your wife. But there are some things Jack that are more important than one’s own personal life. There are things that are worth sacrificing that for. We Jack had to leave because we had finally uncovered information about the Krehlians that will lead to the end of the war and peace for all of 22
No Mercy for The Dead us. We discovered the Krehlians planet of origin and a secret about them that had eluded us for millions of years. The Krehlians are a clone race. A flawed clone race. Millions of years ago their species was on the brink of extinction when cloning was adopted to propagate their species. Unfortunately, the DNA that was used for the original clones was flawed leading to a species that is bent on domination and destruction. They have a hive mentality like bees and are determined to take over Earth at any cost. They have already spread out half way across the galaxy and they won’t stop until they control all of it and enslaved everyone. We have been able to create a plan that will finally lead to their destruction and end the war but we need you to complete it son.” Jacks mother said. “You need? What about what I need? I didn’t ask for this you know? I didn’t want to be leader of the world.” Jack said. “You don’t always get what you want in life Jack. You get what is given to you and you go from there.” Jacks father said. “Thanks for the advice dad. It’s only 30 years too late.” Jack said sarcastically. 23
No Mercy for The Dead “Think Jack about what we are telling you. Think about the future of humanity and Arushia.” Jacks mother said pleading with him. “Can I go back to my jet now and what I was doing? I was in the middle of stopping the zombie apocalypse when you too barged into my life. You know the whole Krehlian Arushian war over Earth that’s been going on. I need to get back to it.” Jack said. “Yes, we will send you back Jack. Please, think about what we told you. We’ll be in touch soon.” Jacks father said as the room filled with light and Jack disappeared. Moment later he was back on the X90 and the X90 was moving as well as Maxwell as if nothing had happened. He looked at Maxwell. “What is it Jack?” Maxwell said. “Nothing. It’s just going to be one of those days I guess.”

No Mercy for The Dead
Chapter 3 Lights from reporter’s cameras flashed in the press room of Khalifa Towers as Samuel Rudd found his way to the podium and adjusted the microphone. The room was filled with reporters from all over the world waiting to hear an historic announcement from the CEO of the world’s largest pharmaceutical company. An announcement that was courted as not to be missed. An announcement that would be broadcast worldwide in every language. Rudd looked out at the mass of reporters waiting for him to speak and smiled at them.
25
No Mercy for The Dead “Today is an historic day for all of mankind. Today we claim victory in a war that has been going on since the beginning of life. Today that war has been won and the enemy has been conquered. Today begins a new day for humanity. It is the beginning of life without disease and without…death. No more illnesses. No more disease. No more death. Today I would like to give to you the cure. It is called Zoecron.” Rudd said as he held up a small vile containing the drug. Cameras flashed as Rudd stood there with a big grin on his face. This was his moment. “This new drug not only cures all diseases from cancer to the common cold…it stops the decay of cells and prevents death itself. Never again will humans be afflicted with health concerns. Never again do we have to sit helpless watching a loved one die. As of today Zoecron will be distributed worldwide for those that can afford the treatment due to the high manufacturing cost of the drug. After years of extensive testing I stand before you and tell you that today is a new chapter for humanity. Immortality is now in our grasp. Thank you.” Rudd 26
No Mercy for The Dead said finishing his speech and then turned to leave the stage. The room exploded with a shower of voices from the reporters asking questions and wanting to know more. Lights from cameras flashed as Rudd ignored the reporters’ questions and left the stage surrounded by his security detail. “That went well I thought.” Rudd said to his assistant. “Yes. You already have over ten million hits on your Facebook page sir.” His assistant Jasper replied as he looked at his iPad. “Of course. Everyone will want the cure to death and disease. Zoecron will make trillions and I will be the man to give it to them.” Rudd said. His assistant put his hand to his ear to listen to a message he was receiving on his Bluetooth earpiece. It was not good news. It was news that would surely upset his employer. “Sir, there seems to be a problem.” Jasper said as they walked to the elevator surrounded by bodyguards that were holding the press at bay. “What? Who dares to rain on my beautiful day?” Rudd asked looking irritated. 27
No Mercy for The Dead “It seems that someone has found out about the zombies.” His assistant replied. “What do you mean someone? Who? Speak damn it! Isn’t that what I pay you for?” Rudd replied angrily. “Our intelligence agents have picked up chatter coming from the Philippines to an undetermined location. G.O.D has sent agents to Mindanao sir. They are trying to stop the zombies from reaching the island.” His assistant replied trembling with fear. He knew this would enrage Rudd. “G.O.D? I’m GOD now! Notify the team on Mindanao and in Singapore and Hong Kong to do anything they have to do and stop them. That’s an order. Nothing can stand in the way of what we are doing. NOTHING!” Rudd screamed at his assistant as they stepped into the elevator. The elevator door closed and took him back upstairs to the penthouse.

No Mercy for The Dead
Chapter 4 The X90 hovered invisible over an old two story building near the shore in Davao. Jack and Maxwell looked at the holographic display in front of them determining a course of action. “The signal is being transmitted from somewhere in that building. There are 40 soldiers in and around the building.” Valerie reported. “They don’t know we are here. That’s the good part.” Maxwell said. “Valerie. If we destroy the building that will kill the signal won’t it?” Jack asked. 29
No Mercy for The Dead “Yes. But it will also destroy any evidence that might tell us who is behind all of this also.” Valerie replied. “Yup! You’re right.” Jack said. “So what do you want to do?” Maxwell asked. “Same as the temple in China. Valerie will target the soldiers outside and I’ll take care of the ones inside.” Jack replied and got up from his seat to load up on weapons. “That will leave 15 soldiers inside Jack.” Valerie said. “I could use that invisibility suit right about now.” Jack said. “Sorry Jack it’s in the locker back at the facility. We’ll make sure it’s onboard for future missions.” Maxwell replied. “Yeah that helps me right now.” Jack sarcastically said as he placed a Glock in its holster. “I’m putting us down as close as I can Jack.” Valerie reported. “Good. Let the games begin.” Jack said as he headed for the door and waited for Valerie to land the X90. 30
No Mercy for The Dead “Shut down that signal as soon as you can Jack. That I hope will stop the zombies. If it does, then we will set up a signal on Reunion Island and see if we can lure them back to the island.” Maxwell said. “And I will search for evidence and find out who is behind this and why while I’m down there.” Jack said as the X90 landed and the door opened. “Good luck!” Maxwell said as Jack left the jet. The jet lifted off again and headed for the building and Valerie deployed the laser and took out the soldiers that were outside. “You’re clear Jack. Hostiles have been eliminated outside the building.” Valerie reported. “Good. It’s my turn now.” Jack replied as he headed for the building. He quickly moved to the back entrance and placed an explosive on it and took cover. The wooden door exploded and splintered into a million pieces. Within seconds several soldiers came rushing out of the door and Jack took aim and shot them. He moved closer to the doorway and took out a smoke canister and pulled the pin and tossed it in. The canister exploded and filled the lower floor of the building with smoke. A group of soldiers came 31
No Mercy for The Dead running out the door choking and coughing as they covered their mouths. Jack made little work of them. Now there were only six soldiers left on the second floor and Jack entered the building after putting on a mask to protect him from the smoke that still lingered inside. He put a fresh magazine in his Glock and headed for the stairs pointing his gun ahead of him looking for a target to engage. “Valerie…activate the nanites would you?” Jack said as he moved closer to the stairs. Something didn’t feel right to him. The nanites would give him super speed and strength if he needed it. “Nanites active Jack.” Valerie responded as Jack quickly moved up the stairs now able to use his super speed and strength. He moved into a room where the remaining soldiers were waiting for him with guns pointed at the stairs ready to ambush whoever was attacking them. Jack killed all six with lightning speed and then stopped and looked around. “Valerie something doesn’t seem right here. I don’t see any equipment for sending a sonar signal.” Jack said.
32
No Mercy for The Dead “The signal is coming from the basement. There is a cable leading to the shore line where a sonar buoy is in the water.” Valerie said. “The basement? Great.” Jack said and quickly moved down the stairs to the basement. There he found a steel door with a security keypad. “I think I need a code to open the door Valerie.” Jack said. “The code is 5543 Jack.” Valerie replied. “Thanks.” Jack said and entered the code. The steel door slid open and Jack drew his gun and went in. He wasn’t alone. A Krehlian was standing on the opposite side of the room holding a small sphere in his hand. The alien was familiar to Jack. It was the same alien that tortured him at the Krehlian base on the dark side of the moon. “Jack Carson…we meet again. I hope there are no hard feelings about the last time we met. Hopefully this will be our last encounter.” The alien said to him and then tossed the sphere at Jacks feet. Jack pointed his gun and opened fire only to see the bullets bounce off the force field that was protecting the alien. The alien took out another sphere and 33
No Mercy for The Dead waved his hand over it and a portal opened up and he hurried in before it closed. “Great! Krehlians Valerie! We have a Krehlian down here!” Jack said. “I’m not detecting anything. Just you.” Valerie replied. The sphere that landed at Jacks feet started to glow a bright red color and make a wining sound that filled the room. Jack stepped back out of the room looking for a safe place knowing this was not good. He headed up the stairs to the first floor and the door outside as the building exploded. Jack flew through the air for several feet before landing at the foot of a coconut tree. He struggled to get to his feet and stumbled and then stood up and turned towards the building that was now a smoldering hole in the ground. “Great! Why the hell did they do that?” Jack said. “To cover their tracks. Whatever was in that room they didn’t want anyone to find or…they just wanted to kill you.” Valerie replied.
34
No Mercy for The Dead “Well we just lost any evidence that might lead us to who’s helping the Krehlians. But at least the sonar is off.” Jack said. “The sonar has been turned off Jack. But I’m detecting a new signal coming from Singapore.” Valerie said. “Singapore? What is this a fucking whack a mole game? We shut one off and another takes its place.” Jack said. “The zombies are changing direction and heading for Singapore now.” Maxwell said. “What about the sonar buoy? Where is it? The one here.” Jack said as an idea popped into his head. “Follow the cable to the shore. The buoy is in the water only a few feet away.” Valerie replied. Jack headed for the cable and followed it to the buoy and pulled it to shore. He took a look at it. “What are you looking for Jack?” Maxwell asked. “I want to see if there’s a manufacturing label on it. Maybe we can trace it.” Jack replied as he examined the buoy. On the underneath of it he found

No Mercy for The Dead what he was looking for a label marking its manufacturer. “Dragon Sonar Corporation. What do we have on them Valerie?” Jack asked. “They are a manufacturer of different types of sonar devices and underwater equipment. Located in Hong Kong, China. They are owned by Rudd Pharmaceuticals.” Valerie replied. “Rudd Pharmaceuticals? What does a pharmaceuticals company need with sonar equipment? Jack asked. “They could be just an investment. Rudd is the largest pharmaceuticals manufacturer in the world. They invest in all sorts of things. It’s a common business practice.” Maxwell said. “The CEO of the company Samuel Rudd just announced the release of a new drug that he claims and get this…cures all known diseases and prevents death.” Valerie added. “Cures all know diseases and prevents death? How could he possibly have something like that without the help of the Krehlians?” Maxwell said.

No Mercy for The Dead “Well, now we know who to look at. Dig into Mr. Samuel Rudd and Rudd Pharmaceuticals Valerie. Let’s get to Singapore and shut down that buoy and hope another one doesn’t start up or this is going to be a long day.” Jack said as he headed back to the jet.

No Mercy for The Dead
Chapter 5 Samuel Rudd sat at his desk and tapped his fingers as he sipped a glass of red wine from his private collection. He was irritated waiting for word from the Philippines. But it didn’t really matter much what was happening there he thought to himself. The whole thing was a decoy to buy time for his new drug to be distributed. Either way his plan would succeed. What really bother him was that G.O.D was now aware of his business and what he was doing. He knew that they would eventually. But they had no idea of what the real plan was. How could they? Only he and the Krehlians knew what was about to happen. The door to the penthouse apartment opened and his assistant came in and headed for him. He 39
No Mercy for The Dead could tell by the look of fear on his face what the news was. “The sonar in the Philippines has been disabled. The zombies are headed for Singapore now.” His assistant reported. Rudd clenched his fist and stood up and threw his glass of wine against the wall. “Very well. It seems the game is afoot. Time to initiate our protective measures. Have security be on alert in Singapore and Hong Kong and find out who is working for G.O.D. and get the bunkers ready.” Rudd said to his assistant. “I’ve already taken the liberty to do that sir. Our intelligence in the Philippines has identified Jack Carson as the agent that disabled the buoy in Davao. I pulled his file and he has a rather extensive reputation from what our associates at Theta and the CIA tell me. He’s more than dangerous from what I’m told.” His assistant said. “More than just dangerous? He crossed over into my territory and stuck his nose into my business. I’m more than dangerous!” Rudd screamed at Jasper. “Yes sir.”

No Mercy for The Dead “It would be intelligent to say that he already knows about me and about Zoecron. And it would also be intelligent to say he knows about the Krehlians involvement. So we can safely assume he knows almost everything and what are agenda may be. But what he doesn’t know is that it is too late. Nothing can be stopped now. The first shipments of Zoecron have already shipped. The first recipients of the drug have already been chosen and will receive their injections within minutes. It’s too late to stop anything.” Rudd said as he stepped slowly towards his assistant. “The first recipient is here in Dubai. A wealthy Arab Prince with terminal cancer. He paid a very handsome price for the cure sir.” Jasper said as he nervously watched Rudd. “One million dollars. Not a bad deal I think for immortality even if that immortality is as a zombie.” Rudd said as he smiled at his assistant. Jasper smiled back at him and they both began to laugh. “Nothing but nothing is going to stop what’s coming. Within the next several hours there will be zombies all over the world spreading the Krehlian 41
No Mercy for The Dead virus and there is nothing the Global Order Directive can do to stop it from happening. And once that the zombie apocalypse has taken its course I will be ruler of the world and its survivors. I will be their god.” Rudd said as he put his hand on his assistant’s shoulder. “And I will be at your side sir.” “You will be my number one Jasper. It will be you that oversees the creation of the new world that I’m going to create from the ashes of the old world.” Rudd said as Jaspers phone started to vibrate in his pocket. He took it out and read the text message that was sent to him. “The first injection was a success. Prince Ahmed Mohammed has started to transform. They are taking him to the hospital hoping to treat him as we speak.” Jasper reported to Rudd. “Treat him? With what? Prayer? In the next fifteen minutes the virus will complete its job and Mohammed will be dead and come back to life and start attacking anyone around him spreading the virus to the next person and then the next person. Within

No Mercy for The Dead hours Dubai will be a zombie filled paradise and then...the rest of the world.” Rudd said laughing. “I think it’s time that we head to the bunker sir. The helicopter is fueled and waiting for us.” Jasper said. “Yes, you’re right. Let’s get to the bunker and wait this out. In a couple of days, the world will be filled with zombies and this world will be destroyed. And in a few weeks the zombies will collapse due to the engineering of the virus and we will own what’s left of the world’s population. And they will do whatever I wish to continue to live.” Rudd said as he and Jasper headed for the door of the penthouse and then to the helicopter on the roof waiting for them. The zombie apocalypse has just begun.
