E. FRANKLINTON
Transformation of a abandoned neighborhood near by downtown Columbus East Franklinton was originally the center of the area before series of devastating flooding, which led to the decline of the area. Since then, E. Franklinton has become one of the neighborhoods known to be unsafe and poor area. By 2012, a part of the area was leveled to be redeveloped in hopes of bringing lights and people back in. The challenge was to revitalize the area with specific program while accomodating the levee that prevents severe flooding that happened before: Facilitate residential area and an art campus while maintaining approximately 15-foot-tall levee and engage the riverside.

Regional Analysis In Delware County
why we chose this site Selected Area: Orange Town Area inDelware County
The class was split into groups of three or four. Our group was given Under Armour as our imaginary client. We took a deep dive into the corporate analysis. Based on analytic information, we were asked to propose an appropriate site in Columbus area for the client's new headquarters campus by going through site analysis. After thorough site analysis, groups were broken into individuals and were asked to design a new campus for his or her own client.
#1. HQ should be placed in quality neighborhoods with high home values and good school district #2. HQ should be placed in growing county #3. Travel time to downtown and OSU should be fair and easy #4. HQ should be close to major circulation #5. HQ should follow development expansion pattern to the north of Columbus

3 Hand-Drawn Traveling As landscape architect needs to be able to convey a vision to others, I have been practicing sketching as I traveled to places which made me realized that sketching is better than taking pictures to capture views, memories, and unique experience of spaces.
