The chair for large venues: Comfortable, lightweight and long-lasting. Design: Martin Ballendat

alite: The innovative stacking chair – beautifully lightweight and sustainable. This is the lightweight chair for large halls and rooms: alite. With its beautiful frame made of anodised aluminium, this chair only weighs a mere 5 kilograms in its lightest version – a big plus for handling. alite can be easily placed in rows, stacked and stored, which makes it an ideal chair for large venues. It also sets the benchmark in terms of sustainability. All parts are linked by bolts, nothing is welded or glued together. This means that after a long life, alite can be separated into its individual materials one day, which are then 100% recyclable. This chair also knows how to convince when it comes to comfort: seat and back are shaped so that they fulfil the highest ergonomic demands. The upper part of the back is also slightly flexible. alite represents a perfect combination of comfort and sustainability and has already received several awards. • Four-legged chair made of rectangular aluminium profile • Seat and back made of plastic, with seat liner, or completely upholstered • In its most lightweight version, it weighs only 5 kg • Long-lasting, since individual parts can be exchanged • 100 % recyclable • Integrated row linking possible • Row linking armrest to armrest, alternatingly, or even between chairs without armrests • Optional: Electronic Seat Numbering (ESN) • Up to 12 chairs can be stacked vertically

All parts are linked to each other by means of bolts – making welding or gluing redundant. Thanks to the anodised surface, the frame needs no chromium plating or powder coating, thus avoiding environmental impact.

A comprehensive ecological concept. Thanks to the bolt construction, all parts can be separated into their respective materials, which makes the chair 100% recyclable. This saves resources. Also, individual components can be exchanged very easily. This makes alite particularly long-lasting and cost efficient. The plastic seat and back are available in five different colours. For the seat liner or the complete upholstery, all fabrics of the house collection can be selected.

Distinctive design for modern architecture. The rectangular aluminium frame profile underlines alite’s straight and clear formal language. Its matt look comes across as modern and fresh. Thanks to its many variants, alite complements a great number of design concepts. The highest degree of seating comfort is provided by the knee roll and the optional upholstery. And the chairs can be linked into rows from armrest to armrest. That means: lots of space when sitting. And when chairs are to be positioned in a more compact way, they can also be linked alternatingly or even completely without armrests.

Efficient, featuring intelligent solutions. alite offers many sophisticated functions – for example the possibility to integrate a row linking device. This does not call for any additional handling during setting up or dismantling the rows. That saves time. The chairs can be linked into rows with or without armrests, either alternatingly or even armrest to armrest. Up to 12 chairs can be stacked vertically one on top of the other and then be securely stored, taking up only minimum space. The ideal complement for great venue deployment: the row and seat numbering.

Conventional method *: 1 chair: 20 seconds ** 1.200 chairs = 6.5 hours

with Brunner ESN: 1 push of a button: 1 second 1.200 chairs = 0,5 hours ***

Optional: the row numbering display. It is simply clicked on and later detached using a special tool.

* seat numbering as magnetic numbers and clip-on row numbers ** for attaching and detaching the magnetic numbers *** including attaching and detaching the electronic row numbering

Convenient, economical, uncomplicated: The Electronic Seat Numbering At large events, chairs need to be renumbered time and time again. Thanks to the Electronic Seat Numbering, this works absolutely smoothly – taking only 10% of the usual time. The system can be handled without any prior knowledge. Entire rows of chairs can be numbered at a single push of a button via remote control, automatically in ascending or descending order. Any chair can function as the first chair in a row. The signals are transmitted by infrared through the entire row of chairs to the respective displays, so there are no obtrusive cables. Optionally, the displays are also available with lighting. 10 . 11
