I N S P I R AT I O N the CASSADY is a hotel influenced by the Beat Generation, a generation driven by idealism and intellectual energy, whose literary roots were in D e n v e r. A g e n e r a t i o n w h i c h c h a l l e n g e d t h e s o c i a l norm and promoted:

“a revolution of the spirit.” Neal Cassady of Denver was immortalized as Dean M o r i a r t y i n J a c k K e r o u a c ’s 1 9 5 7 c l a s s i c , O n T h e Road, a story which reflected the passionate and experiential culture of the Beat Generation. Neal was many things to the influential leaders of the m o v e m e n t : a m u s e , a r e b e l , a n a r t i s t , a l o v e r, a n o u t s i d e r. Lobby: 1,100 SF The lobby includes a sitting room for guests to find comfort in a good book, or good conversation. The library is the integral part of the check-in at the Cassady, where friends and guests can also purchase local art, poetry and music.

Lounge: 1,000 SF the lounge offers a unique kitchen island bar for guests to congregate and feel at home. With additional tables and window seats, the lounge promotes communal gathering and conversation between friends and guests.

Patio: 1,200 SF the patio is an integral part of the lobby and lounge and promotes a necessary connection to 16th Street. Filled with vegetation and trees, the patio becomes its own room within the Cassady.

LOBBY The Lobby at the CASSADY was inspired to promote the same quality, comfort and expression one would feel at home. The inviting spirit of the space embraces the interraction between friends of the n e i g h b o r h o o d a n d g u e s t s v i s t i n g t h e C A S S A D Y. Unique spaces within the Lobby is designed to celebrate the collaborative and communal spirit of the culture.

The casual check-in happens at the Library table. Friends and guests use the Reading Room to find comfort in a good book, or a good conversation. During the day Guests congregate around the hightop in the Kitchen for a light breakfast. Or hang around for late night cocktails when the Library, Lobby & Lounge morph into a single gatehring spot for friends and guests spilling out to the Patio creas a great visual and physical connection from the i n t e r i o r t h e g r e a t o u t d o o r w e a t h e r o f D e n v e r.

GUEST ROOMS The apartment flat was a primary meeting place for many influential characters of the Beat Generation. The informal residential setting became a communal gathering space to share, create, and freely express the spontaneous spirit of the time. The guest rooms a t t h e C A S S A D Y p a y t r i b u t e t o t h e i n t e l l e c t u a l e n e rgy of the generation and provide the guest with the same informal opportunity to meet, share and express. The concept also acknowledges the transient trend in short-term rentals, and seeks to provide the global nomad with an individually crafted experience that reflects the local personality of Denver and the Highland neighborhood.

The Cassady offers 3 crafted room types to engage the unique personality of each guests, while maintaining the same level of quality, comfort and expression.
