DETAIL DRAWINGS

Datum lines in all of the sleeper cars are proportioned to fit the human body.

32

5

The fifth datum line (114”) is primarily intended to host the ceiling rod system.

3

The third datum line (66”) provides ample upper body clearance above sitting height.

1

The first datum line (18”) is the typical sitting height seen in most chairs.

ERIN SANG

MALLEABLE SURFACE

The four th datum line (90”) matches the average height for ver tical arm reach.

4

The second datum line (42”) sits two-inches above the first datum line. This is the minimum clearance required between bunked surfaces, seen in vehicles such as tour buses.
