then During the Golden Age of flying, airlines tailored to the upper economic class. In the 1950’s passengers were able to enjoy complimentary meals, socialize in the lounge, book napping pods, and walk about the cabin. When the economy class was introduced in the 1950s, the customer experience started to reduce while the maximum profit was the main priority for all airlines.

now

Today, passengers are separated by social class and required to sit next to a stranger for the entire flight, regardless of the duration. The entire air travel journey has become an all-day excursion and extremely anxiety-ridden for a lot of travelers. The cabin is no longer accounting for the user experience and is in no way as luxurous as it once was. With long lines and TSA security, there is a lot of time wasted when choosing to fly by plane.

Lack of Productivity Due to the lack of space on a commercial flight, we are left with little room to be productive.

Uncomfortable Seating On average, economy class seat widths decreased 2 to 3 inches, and seat pitch decreased 2 to 5 inches since 2014.

Health Risks Keeping your distance is difficult on crowded flights. You will likely be sitting within 6 feet of others, sometimes for hours, increasing your risk of virus and other infections.

Lack of Privacy The entirity of the interior is open, so travelers have no sense of privacy during the duration of their flight.
