COACHING BSAK is proud to announce our partnership with ILM and Broadlands Consulting, to offer teachers and education leaders across the UAE the opportunity to complete a Level 3 ILM and City and Guilds Award in Effective Coaching.

Having staff throughout your organisation with effective coaching skills can make a significant, tangible and positive impact. The nature of teaching as a profession has also shown itself to be particularly well aligned to coaching, and its benefits on teaching and school leadership.
THE COURSE Know what it takes to be an effective coach and understand the role and responsibilities of effective coaches. Learn a recognised coaching model, and the tools and techniques to support it. Put your new skills into practice and carry out supervised coaching sessions. Analyse coaching performance in order to improve your own ability.

THE FACILITATORS: John McGuire is the owner of Broadlands Consulting. He is a qualified and very experienced coach and facilitator, with expertise in supporting businesses and schools in the UK, UAE and internationally. Charlotte McDowell is an Assistant Head at BSAK. She is a qualified and experienced coach and senior school leader.
HOW TO APPLY: To register for a place, email James McBlane jmcblane@britishschool.sch.ae and Nicola Brodie nbrodie@britishschool.sch.ae The cost of the course is AED 3,950. This includes 3 face to face training sessions, ongoing coaching and assessment support, and the ILM registration and qualification through Broadlands. Places are limited to 10. Due to the nature of the learning the cohort size will be kept small to ensure that learners get the very best experience.
