Brittney Sawitzki Biography

“WHY IS MY BABY BLUE! WHERE ARE YOU TAKING HER! CHIRS DO SOMETHING! Stacy screached as they rushed her newborn daughter, Brittney Rose Sawitzki, out of the hospital room. The time was 5:28 pm on December 29 th, 1992. Stacy being only twenty-two and Christopher being only twenty-three were scared, not knowing if their little girl would even come back into the room alive. It was the beginning of everything in her life. The day that was supposed to be beautiful and natural, and it turned into tragedy and anxiety. The doctors rushed her into the emergency room for meconium aspiration syndrome. Obviously for her existence today, the doctors managed to restore her to full health. Brittney remained the single child to Christopher and Stacy Sawitzki until the news was discovered that Brittney would shortly receive a younger sister. Heather Lynn Sawitzki was born December 02, 1997. Brittney did seem to like her sister while she was young and unable to fight back, talk, or walk. They seemed to get along just as well as sisters would. Nothing in the world would, or could, ever separate them. The proof of her love for her sister was shown when she once saved her sister's life. Brittney was five years old and Heather has been choking on a penny. Brittney retrieved the lodged penny because she loved her sister even though Brittney was too young to fully understand the severity of death yet. Brittney's first encounter with death was on July 23, 2005. Brittney was up at a camp that was quite familiar to her family and her. She was enjoying her time at the camp when she got a phone call from her mother. The Sawitzki family was already in for the night when she got the call, it was broken up and muffled so Brittney had to leave the camper. Brittney walked up to the

hill of the campsite to make the call. At this time she received that news that her childhood friend had been hit by a car while on his bicycle and recieve trama to his head that could be life threatening and it wasn't likely that he would make it. The next day he was gone, without time for Brittney to go and see him one last time. After that Brittney moved from Schenectady, where she grew up, to Rotterdam. Rotterdam brought many new things for her. She gained new friends, a new school, a new environment, new animals, and a new life. Directly after getting settled into the new home came two family puppies, named Sissy and Sammy. They are brother and sister, American Bull Dog – Boxer Mix rescued dogs. The significance of two dogs was so that each child of the family would have the responsibility of taking care of her own animal. Sammy, th skittish and untrustworth puppy, became Brittney's. The fall after moving to Rotterdam, Brittney switched schools from Notre Dame – Bishop Gibbons to the first public school of her life. As she walked into school on the first day at Mohonasen everything was different. There were new responsibilities and goals that were never expected at a private school and Brittney challenged them all. The social cliques and drama was intensified and the expectations of her education had significally risen. Along with Mohonasen came the most influential, frustrating, and caring person Brittney had met in her life. He was a sophomore when they met in her freshman year and she knew that she would always care about him. His name is David Michael LaPrade II. He became her life ever since they met. They were inseparable and cared about each other with such great passion. They started dating December 25th, 2007 and struggled to better each other, and guided and pushed each other to succeed each day since.

One of the most difficult things that Brittney took on was the task of a summer job. She applied at one place and was instantly hired. In the first week of July in 2009 Brittney became a K-Mart employee. This job took up twenty hours of her summer weeks and showed her what true responsibility was. The fact that the job came before all other things in her life was difficult for her to understand. Brittney never knew what a serious job was like. She was a cashier and enjoyed her job so much to begin with. The new kinds of people she had met in her work field were so different from the kinds of people she had never interracted with before. Brittney met people with different skills that when put together helped to make the company succeed. The job started to become difficult around the month of September. School was beginning again and the work load of her junior year was not going to be easy, and Brittney knew this. Even with the school year starting Brittney pushed through everyday to belence her life in a manner that allowed for her to continue her job, and live her life to its fullest. When eventualy the workload got to overwhelming she had to choose to quit her job to make sure she was giving her onehundred percent to everything she did. Brittney and her sister, along with her two grandparents took a trip to Alaska during the first two weeks of August 2009. The trip showed Brittney the many little wonders in life that are often overlooked. An iceberg that took millions of years to create could just crash into the water so easily without any change in force acting upon it. Brittney came home from that trip a different person then when she left. Brittney took the wonders of that trop and attempted to start applying it to her eceryday life. She did it with little things such as giving up something little what would make another person happy at any chance she could. Brittney gained most of her independence ironically on September 11 th, 2009. For Brittney to truly start to acceopt the responsibilities of adulthood that were shortly approaching she would

need to pass her road test! The day was nerve-wrecking, to say the least. Luckily, Brittney had hey best friend, Brittany, with her to help her through it. Brittany was also taking her road test. Brittney went first and she tried her hardest and when the test was over she had done it. She took the leap after only a short tim eon the road and had managed to accomplish the task of getting her licence. Brittney knew that it wasn't going to be easy but the independence and confidence that she had multiplied on and off the road. Brittney took what she hoped was the last move she would ever have to make. On May 1st, 2010 the moving truck came and all the stuff went. It was hot out and it was a lot of hard work but in under a week the family, with alot of help from very gracious family and friends, was moved again. Brittney was very uncertain at first but things transitioned beautifully. Boxes and boxes became objects neatly placed around the house. In June of 2010, David Michael LaPrade II walked across the stage, grabbed his diploma and spread his wings into his new life. David went to Saint Rose so he could remain close to Brittney. Things got harder for them, but it didn't matter. Brittney and David were destined to be together. On December 16th, 2010 Brittney's Mother and, soon to be, step-father Tommy delivered their first baby girl. She was born one week late at 10 pounds and 3 ounces, and they named her Allanah Elizabeth Planz. She was gorgeous and Brittney never thought she'd ever have another little brother or sister in her life. Brittney stepped up to the plate because she knew that the baby was going to be a lot more stressful then anyone had ever expected. Things changed faster then Brittney could ever had hoped for. Her senior year was rushed, and for Brittney she just needed her life remote to tell it to slow down. Brittney had so much to

do. She needed to pick a college, plan her life, and take the right steps to achieve her future goals in such a short period of time. Brittney managed with only a few migraines and Amps ®. Brittney walked across the stage that June and it was a whole new freedom, a whole different light that was never turned on before then for her. Brittney knew that it was hard all that time, but she knew it was worth it. She heard it “Brittney Sawitzki”. “That's my name!” She thought to herself, and she walked across that stage with a smile on her face because she finally made it. As she walked down the stairs stage right he was there waiting for her. David dropped down on one knee and asked “Be Mine Forever, Please?” Her smile was enough to tell him that the question wasn't needed. Christopher, Brittney's father, and his fiance Tarah decided that now that Brittney was graduated it was the perfect time to do the things they always had wanted to. Christopher and Tarah got married on July 11th, 2011. Tarah announced that she was going to be having a baby boy shortly after that. Brittney got accepted into UAlbany as she always hoped she would. Brittney majored in psychology at the university. Brittney stayed home the first year but then realized with the pressures of the new baby she would have to leave. Brittney moved in with her fiance when she entered her second year at UAlbany. The place wasn't anything great and neither of them wanted it, they both actually hated it, but they knew it was the best they could do for eachother for the time being. In 2016, Heather graduated from Mohonasen just like Brittney did. Brittney was proud of everything her sister had done. As a child Brittney never wanted to admit it, but she knew that Heather was going to shine for the things she had accomplished.

The next year, Brittney and David realize they were going to have a child, and it changed their lives. It wasn't the plan for them, but they knew that it was their child and it was going to remain that way. Brittney had Annalise Nicole LaPrade on January 3 rd, 2017 at 3:49 am. Annalise weighted 8pounds and 7 ounces, and was Brittney's angel. Brittney'd goals changed that January, for better or worse. The following April, David and Brittney got married. It was the wedding that Brittney had always hoped for, which meant that David had no say in anything. It wasn't too big, or too small. Too white, or too colorful. It was perfect. Brittney had two more years of medical school to handle before she could get her degree to become a child psychiatrist. David jugged medical school and work along with Brittney to make sure they could provide for their daughter, yet not have to compromise their dreams. The most proud day of Brittney's life was September 09 th, 2022. Annalise entered kindergarden. It was a whole new journey for her. Brittney had to think back and remember all the struggles she faced, and had to protect Annalise from them. Annalise stepped on the bus that day it everything was different. What would Brittney do before she had to go to work, who would be there to play with her? Brittney was scared of Annalise losing everything precious about herself. Annalise had to spread her wings and soar without the help of her mother for just this once. Brittney got her degree a couple months before she got her job as a child psychologist. It wasn't everything Brittney has wanted, but it was a start. Brittney kept on reaching for the sky and her dreams eventually came true. Brittney opened up her own private practice on March 23 rd, 2023. Brittney reasearched the way color, music, and comfortability affects children and made it

the base of her business. David and her never had other children, but they were satisfied with their little family. Brittney couldn't have imagined having anything different. Their small family made them exactly who they were, and changed and altered thier lives in ways so immaginable. David and Brittney made it. They did stay together forever just like he had asked her too. It was just perfect for Brittney.

Notes: My future life is written as I expect it to be like, and what I wish would happen. I choose to highlight the most important things about my future because those are the things I wish would come true the most in my life. I picked out events that would be “major milestones in lives of everybody. I also choose to make it realist instead of far fetched because my life is planned and worked towards everyday and I won't compromise my dreams for anything!
