Part-Time Admissions Officer The British School of Guangzhou would like to invite applications for the post of Part-Time Admissions Officer. Hours of Work: Monday to Wednesday 7:30am to 4:30pm. Holidays and Salary will be discussed at interview. Start Date: 1st October 2014
What will my responsibilities be?
Receiving and replying to enquiries about the school and/or life in Guangzhou as an expat (phone, email and in person) Processing applications and enrolling students efficiently according to targets and the School's admissions policies. Conducting school tours and arranging/conducting entry assessments Helping to maintain an up-to-date student database Completing and presenting weekly reports to school management Representing the school at community and school based events Offering general assistance to the Admissions, Marketing, Events and Communication Teams with the school.
What skills and qualifications will I need?
This vacancy is suited to anyone living in Guangzhou with links to and knowledge of the local expat community Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential with knowledge of the British education system and/or international schooling desirable. Full native English language ability (spoken & written) and computer literacy (outlook, excel, word) are essential. Second languages are desirable. Successful applicants will present well at all times and be able to demonstrate flexibility within a busy team environment Must have a 3/4 year bachelors degree (only applicants willing to apply for a full Chinese working visa need apply)
