JSV Headteacher's Welcome

It is with great excitement that we warmly welcome all of our new families to Junior School Vlaskamp.

The beginning of the year is an important time to build relationships across the community. Striving for and supporting academic excellence, whilst nurturing characteristics, begins with getting to know each child, and their unique strengths and interests.

Our highly-skilled staff, together with a wealth of opportunities both within and beyond the classroom, enable every child to flourish whilst developing a life-long love of learning.

For those families who are just beginning their BSN journey, with new surroundings, classmates and teachers, the whole community will be working together to ensure your children feel settled, confident and ready to begin the new term.

For families moving from our JSD campus, we feel confident that this will be a smooth transition with many familiar welcoming faces, routines and classroom practices.

Strong collaboration between schools and families promotes emotional wellbeing, as well as academic achievement.
