关于新加坡佛牙寺龙华院

About BTRTS

新加坡佛牙寺于2002年由法照大和尚创立，并于2003年2月20日在社团法令下注册成为宗教团体，于2004年1月 8日在新加坡慈善法令下注册成为慈善团体。新加坡佛牙寺在2005年成功筹集资金，在新加坡桥南路288号建设一栋文化综合中心。文化综合中心于2007年竣工并命名为新加坡佛牙寺龙华院（BTRTM）。新加坡佛牙寺龙华院正殿供养一尊庄严的弥勒尊佛,又称“一生补处菩萨”或又称“未来佛”。

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple (Singapore) (BTRTS) was founded in 2002 by Venerable Chao Khun Shi Fa Zhao BBM. It was registered as a society under the Societies Act on 20th February 2003, and as a charity under the Charities Act on 8th January 2004. BTRTS raised funds for the construction of a new cultural complex at 288 South Bridge Road Singapore 058840 in 2005. Construction of the cultural complex was completed in 2007 and it has been named Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum (BTRTM).

慈无量 - 愿能给予别人幸福快乐 Boundless loving-kindness (maitri) happiness to others

Giving

悲无量 - 愿能帮助止息别人的痛苦 Boundless compassion (karuna) - Helping to ease the suffering of others.

喜无量 - 愿能将喜悦送给周围的人，因为他们的幸福快乐而感到喜悦 Boundless joy (mudita) - Giving joy to others and feeling joyful because of their happiness. 舍无量 - 愿能不存分别心地接纳一切 Boundless equanimity (upeksa) everyone impartially.

Treating

当你爱时，是因为众生需要你的爱，而不是因为他是你的家人、国家或宗教里的人。当到达这种境界时，你就是在实践真爱。 If you love simply because the sentient beings need your love and not because they are your family or of same nationality or religion as you, you are indeed practising true love.

Buddha Image 佛像主表

Lotus 莲花主表

The Buddha image represents Buddha Maitreya’s completeness of spiritual practice and perfections of virtues (paramitas), having achieved cessation of rebirth and death and neither appearing nor disappearing.

The Lotus represents the four sublime attributes of Nirvana (i.e. eternity, bliss, true self, and purity) which prevent the sentient beings from being tainted with afflictions, thus achieving tranquillity.

弥勒尊佛因位之万行圆备，果位之万德充满，住寿凝然无去来。

‘Om’唵字主表

种子真言之心，于一切真言最为无上，乃一切佛部所住处。 Om is a powerful bija (Sanskrit term, literally seed) mantra. It is considered a supreme mantra, hailed by all Buddhas.

Rays of Light 光线主表

法界真如之常、乐、我、净四德。众生不被烦恼污染之清净。

Red Colour 红色主表

威权宏伟之势，愤怒镇慑之威，善静热烈之情。

The colour red represents the magnificent power of Buddha’s teachings that can suppress anger or hatred. It also represents fervent kindness and warmth.

佛光如晓日辉照世间，慈悲喜舍安置众生于善趣与三乘。

The rays of light represent the four immeasurable virtues (i.e. kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity) that pervade the world like the rays of rising sun that illuminate the world. The four immeasurable virtues help to ensure the rebirth of the sentient beings in higher realms of existence where they can achieve enlightenment through the three ‘Vehicles’ ‘Vehicle’ ( means a mode or method of spiritual practice in Buddhism).

2022年度佛牙寺會務總結報告獻詞

南無佛！尊敬各位善信们，大家吉祥！佛陀说： “人高在忍，诸事能忍品自高。人贵在善，积德行善方为贵，人杰在悟，悟透人生则杰。 ”

忍百忍者，百福之源。善是一种修为。行善积德是一种智慧，也是一种文明。不管事态如何，自己内心的善良不要泯灭。信佛的人一定要把什么是善、什么是惡，怎样地来受持五戒、奉行十善这些根本问题弄清楚，这样我们在日常生活中才不至于做錯事，不至于忘记信仰的原则，忘记修行。修行最重要的是要破除执着，如果我们不能了解諸法緣起性空的道理，就会在一切事物上执着自我、存有固定不变的错觉。有执着就有障碍，有障碍就有煩恼，有煩恼就会造种种业，受种种报。佛法最究竟的地方，就是“一切法因緣所生”。明白了因緣共生的道理，烦恼可以断掉，执着可以破除，我执可以放下，法执可以放下。

生命是一種過程而不是一個目的。苦和甜來自外界，體味幸福則來自內心。學會感恩，學會滿足，就懂得愛與被愛，珍惜才能擁有。我们对别人的好事要同喜、要赞叹。我们假使能贏得别人的欢喜赞叹，我们就有了好的信息。只有时时刻刻想到別人的存在，想到别人对于我们的奉献，才能真正理解“人人为我，我為人人”，从而更激励我们努力为人民、为国家创造更多的财富。我感谢这么多年，理事会全体同仁對佛牙寺所作的貢献。感谢各位善信们对我的信任和肯定。知遇之恩當永生不忘。在以后的日子里我会更加努力的做好弘法工作。祝大家身体健康，諸事吉祥，与佛同在。 Namo Buddhaya! Dear Dharma friends,

The Buddha said:“A man with forbearance is a respectable man. A man who is charitable is a noble man. A man who has awakened is an outstanding man.”

The source of abundant blessings comes from the ability to show forbearance in many situations. Cultivating kindness is part of Buddhist practice. It takes wisdom to do good and a kind person is a cultured person. One must show kindness even in the face of adversity. Buddhists should discern good and evil and be mindful of upholding the Five Precepts and the practice of the Ten Good Deeds. In doing so, we will avoid making mistakes in our life and we will not forget to maintain our belief in Buddhism and our Buddhist practice.

The essence of Buddhism is non-attachment. If we do not grasp the concept of dependent arising (or dependent origination), we will mistake the self as a fixed and non-contingent point around which everything turned and be attached to it when in truth, the self is just a fluid and contingent process. Attachment will result in hindrance which in turn will cause affliction. A person with afflicted mind may commit misdeeds and will ultimately have to suffer the karmic consequences. In Buddhism, the ultimate truth is that everything is interconnected and nothing exists independently of other things. Once you grasp this concept of dependent arising (or dependent origination), you will be able to let go of affliction and attachments including attachment to self.

In life, we should enjoy the process and should not focus on the outcome. External factors may cause suffering or pleasurable experiences. But true happiness is a state of mind. With gratitude and contentment, one will know how to love and be loved. Cherish what you have and you will be the master of your own mind. We must rejoice in the good works of others. If others rejoice in our works, we gain encouragement. When we care about others and what they have done for us, we will truly appreciate the phrase,“all for one and one for all”,and this will in turn motivate us to work harder for others and our nation. I am grateful to all the Management Committee members for their contributions over the years. I am also grateful to all my Dharma friends for your trust and recognition of my work. I will never forget your kindness. I will work even harder to share the Dharma with more people. Wishing you good health and good fortune, and may Buddha bless you.

With two Front Office service counters, enhanced e-registration and e-offering capabilities, donors’generosity can find multiple forms of expression either online or at BTRTM via our friendly staff as follows: • • • • • •

慈爱袋派发 12月18日

除了每年的流感疫苗接种活动，我们还在每年的农历新年和卫塞节分发装有日常用品的慈爱袋给來自万达、振瑞以及惹兰固哥乐龄活动中心的年长人士和不同的安老院。

Maitri Bags Distribution (28 Feb 2021)

Apart from the annual flu vaccination event, we also distributed Maitri Bags on festive occasions such as Chinese New Year and Vesak Day. These Maitri Bags were filled with essential items and distributed to the elderly from the Senior Activity Centres (Banda, Chin Swee and Jalan Kukoh) and at different nursing homes.

佛牙寺第十一届常年流感疫苗接种活动 12月18日

流感疫苗接种是佛牙寺的常年活动。在2021 年,我们邀请了來自万达、振瑞和惹兰固哥乐龄活动中心的三百位年长人士到佛牙寺免费注射流感疫苗。这些流感疫苗是由Infectious Disease Partners Pte. Ltd 传染病专科医生, 黄乘佑医生慷慨赞助的。黄医生和他的敬业护士团队也在现场为年长人士进行流感疫苗接种。我们很荣幸地邀请到通讯及新闻部长兼内政部第二部长杨莉明女士出席了2021 年的流感疫苗接种活动。杨部长在场分发慈愛袋和点心給大家。

由我们的相关组织慈光福利协会医疗人员组成的流动疫苗接种队，也特地登门到访不良于行的居家年长人士，为他们注射流感疫苗。随行的义工们也协助分发慈爱袋和点心给居家年长者。

BTRTM 11th Annual Flu Vaccination Event (18 Dec 2021)

The BTRTS Flu Vaccination is an annual event. For 2021, 300 seniors from Banda, Chin Swee and Jalan Kukoh Senior Activity Centres were invited to BTRTM to receive free flu vaccinations. These flu vaccines were kindly donated by Dr. Wong Sin Yew of Infectious Disease Partners Pte. Ltd. Dr. Wong and a team of his dedicated nurses were also on site to administer the flu vaccinations. We were honoured to have Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister for Communications and Information & Second Minister for Home Affairs, as our guest of honour for the event. Mrs Josephine Teo distributed Maitri Bags and snacks to the elderly after vaccination.

Mobile vaccination teams formed by the medical personnel of our affiliated organization, Metta Welfare Association, also visited the homebound elderly to administer the vaccinations. Our tireless volunteers accompanied the mobile vaccination teams and distributed Maitri Bags and snacks to the homebound elderly.

线上佛学班 - 佛陀的一生 3月4日到年9月26日

由於冠病疫情的持续，我们无法恢復实体课程。佛牙寺继续提供在线课程。在2021年，本寺推出了新的在线课程， “佛陀的一生”。感谢我们的授课法师，昭坤法照大和尚，宝深法师，道宏法师和永佳法师。

Online Buddhism Courses – Life of the Buddha (4 March 2021 to 26 September 2021)

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, we were unable to resume face-to-face classes. BTRTS continued to offer online courses and in 2021, a new course,“Life of the Buddha”, was launched. We are grateful to our Dharma instructors, Ven. Chao Kun Fa Zhao, Ven. Bao Shen, Ven. Dao Hong and Ven. Yong Jia.

Facilities Department

设备维修部的目标是提供一个安全、可持续和有利的工作场所，重点为实现佛牙寺的目标。设备维修部部通过设施规划和管理采用最佳做法解决日常设施挑战，确保寺佛牙寺的顺利运营，实现成本效益。在设备维修部负责通过综合设施管理、设施规划、营运和维修，卫生清理服务, 防火措施和保安，并且协助法会、庆典等活动的场地设置的工作。

在主要由新冠肺炎大流行主导的一年里，根据卫生部和文化、社区及青年部的指导方针，我们迅速而安全地实施了新冠肺炎的安全管理措施，如增加高接触表面的消毒频率，探索更有效和高效的消毒剂和安全进出入装置。佛牙寺也利用了这疫情期间进行重大改建项目，包括扩充五观堂、改建更多的培训课室和一个新的博物馆。改建项目是由一组顾问团队管理，即Yi Architects、MSE Consultants、EWC Engineers 和 UEMS Group项目团队。新莲芯膳坊 (五观堂) 已开始营业，提供各样美味素食。新兰若坊 (龙华剧院) 也开放使用授课。以下是设备维修部2022年的部分计划：

The Facilities Department’ s aim is to provide a safe, sustainable, and conducive workplace that is focused on achieving BTRTM’ s goals. Through facilities planning and management, the Facilities Department solves day-to-day facility chalenges and adopts best practices to ensure the smooth operations of BTRTM and achieve cost effectiveness. The Facilities Department also manages our outsourced partners for Integrated Facilities Management, Housekeeping, Fire Safety, Security and facilitates the setting up of festive decorations.

In a year largely defined by the COVID-19 pandemic, based on MOH and MCCY guidelines, we have quickly and safely implemented COVID-19 safe management measures such as increasing the frequency of disinfecting high-touch surfaces and exploring more effective and efficient disinfectants and Safe Entry devices. BTRTM has used this COVID-19 period to undergo major upgrading works for a bigger dining hall, additional training rooms and a new museum. The upgrading project is being managed by a team of consultants, namely, Yi Architects, MSE Consultants, EWC Engineers and UEMS Group project team. The new Lian Xin Vegetarian Restaurant at Basement 1 is opened in February 2022, providing a variety of vegetarian meals. The new Aranya Hall at Basement 2 is in used to hold Buddhism courses. A Brand-new eCommerce Experience

We have upgraded our website to a new and improved Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce-powered e-commerce website which was launched on 23 December 2021!

IT Department

“Donations”section from our old Portals site has been cutover to our new website and an“Offerings”section has been added so that donors can choose to make their donations and offerings online via our e-commerce website whenever and wherever they are!

本寺崭新的电子商务网站（Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce）于2021年12月23日推出！

【捐款】项目已从旧有的Portals 转移到新的电子商务网站，新网站也添加了【供品】项目，捐赠者可随时随地通过新网站进行在线捐款及供养！

新的自助销售机（Kiosk）及销售终端机（POS）

除了新电子商务网站的推出，本寺还安装了新的自助销售机及销售终端机，以促进自助捐款及供养。每台机器都配置一台 Microsoft Surface Pro平面电脑、新设计的外壳及其他装置如自助收银机 (CashDro)及支付终端机。

新的自助销售机及销售终端机也是以Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce系统进行操作，所有Kiosk及POS交易与我们的 Microsoft Finance & Operations系统无缝连接

Implementation of New Kiosk and POS Machines Onsite

Together with the cutover of the new e-commerce website, new Kiosk and POS machines were installed in our temple to facilitate DIY donations and offerings. Each machine comes with Microsoft Surface Pro tablet, specially designed outer shell and other peripherals like CashDro machine that accepts, validates, and dispenses local currency, and a card payment terminal by Global Payments. With these new machines, our Kiosk and POS transactions are now synchronized seamlessly with our Microsoft Finance & Operations system as they are also operated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce system.
