This week, your PARD team has been balancing the ordinary and the extraordinary. While they’ve been diligently mowing, trimming, raking, and sanitizing your parks and facilities, they’ve also been busy with some exciting projects! From constructing festive decorations to installing brand - new playgrounds and pavilions, the PARD team is committed to creating and maintaining spaces that are both beautiful and functional.
Digging Up Community Pride:
Public parks, and an old city cemetery may seem worlds apart, but for our staff, they share a common purpose: they are a part of our city, our community — places for creating lasting memories. Our athletic fields and parks are integral to people’s stories, and it’s our responsibility to ensure they remain safe and enjoyable spaces.
OUR PARKS AND REC TEAM IS HARD AT WORK CREATING BEAUTIFUL NEW PI CNIC AREAS FOR YOU TO ENJOY! IT MAY NOT LOOK LIKE MUCH RIGHT NOW, BUT BEHIND TH E SCENES, OUR DEDICATED TEAM IS PUTTING IN HARD WORK TO TRANSFORM THESE SPACES . FROM LEVELING THE GROUND TO INSTALLING STRUCTURES, EVERY DETAIL IS CAREFULLY C ONSIDERED.
