The PARD crew has concluded another successful week! As we say goodbye to the festive cottages and twinkling holiday lights, the team's excitement for the projects ahead continues to shine brightly. This week, the dedicated men and women of PARD tackled crucial initiatives, including the recycling of discarded equipment and materials. They also embarked on a comprehensive project to replace all signage throughout our trail system. It has been a busy but incredibly rewarding week! From Holiday Magic to Springtime Splendor!
Our dedicated park employees are hard at work, swapping out festive decorations in preparation for spring. It's a team effort! Each member diligently removes holiday decorations, carefully storing them for next year's celebrations, while simultaneously preparing our parks and trails for warmer months. It's a busy time, but it ensures our parks remain welcoming and well - maintained for the entire community.
MAINTAINING A WELL - MARKED TRAIL NETWORK IS CRUCIAL FOR VISITOR SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT. OUR DEDICATED STAFF WORK DILIGENTLY, OFTEN BRAVING RAIN & COLD, TO INSPECT SIGNAGE & REPLACE ANY DAMAGED OR MISSING SIGNS. ALL NEW OR REPAIRED SIGNS UNDERGO RIGOROUS QUALITY CONTROL TO ENSURE DURABILITY, READABILITY, & ACCURACY. SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS, FROM SITE ASSESSMENT TO MATERIAL SELECTION AND WORK PRACTICE.
THE PARKS AND RECREATION MAINTENANCE CREW HAS BEEN HARD AT WORK THIS WEEK INSTALLING NEW TRAIL MARKERS, SIGNS, AND POSTS THROUGHOUT OUR CITY'S TRAIL SYSTEM. THIS EXCITING PROJECT WILL MAKE IT EASIER THAN EVER TO NAVIGATE AND PLAN YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE. WITH IMPROVED WAYFINDING, EXPLORING OUR BEAUTIFUL TRAILS WILL BE MORE ENJOYABLE AND ACCESSIBLE FOR EVERYONE.
