Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jaye grew up in some of the most extreme situations ever; having lost his mother, having a father on crack and being raised in foster homes and being homeless, Jaye Cane’s pains Have became his catalyst to survive. Jaye fell in love with Hip Hop at an early age and his interest helped shape and mold the energetic, and driven artist he is known to be today. “I was very young when I had the thought but it was only poetry then... at an early age I transformed my poetry into songs but never got in the recording studio until later. The life I lead was harsh and the houses were always unstable, so the fact i can write words and feel better, became my way of releasing and expressing.” Jaye Cane’s harsh life being his driving force for inspiration he began to write and record. “Its life’s hardships and joyous moments that inspire me to write,” Jaye says. In his music you’ll find the true man behind the music, his deepest thoughts, passions, struggles, and accomplishments. “You can’t learn what I know from books. I’m thankful for them all. I’m able to take my past and produce wisdom and inspiration to the youth. I got a million lives to save. My life and journey is what makes me special,” Jaye Cane states. Having the humanitarian heart that Jaye has makes his audiences appreciate’s his music and makes his Audience relate to him. He is “REAL.” Jaye speaks the truth with a mainstream appeal, a style of music that grabs listeners as radio worthy. “I say soul-tapping words. I’m a scientist. I take the worlds pain in and give them back a cure.” Jaye’s words speaks Leaps and bounds like Tupac, having the capabilities to effect the people who listen with their heart; He has the appeal of Ludacris, who has a charisma that can be excepted by all ethnic backgrounds and the writing capabilities of Eminem, writing in not only his own genre of Hip Hop but he writes songs for pop artist as well as R&B. Along with his own unique flare Jaye Cane is sure to deliver. A few of Jaye’s musical influences consist of Jay-Z, Nickel back, Brian Mc Knight, Creed, Whitney Houston and Rico Love. Although he has noted these in-
fluential people as having an impact on him as an artist and the music that he creates, Jaye says he would he be honored to do collaboration with “EVERYONE”, they all have a piece that I have in me, that’s what pushes me to be a part of this musical circle. It’s like a long lost family; hopefully I will get the chance to meet them.” Jaye Cane is not only a talented artist but he has a genuine spirit and there is a certainty that his message will be felt. Jaye only hopes that his audience gets his message; he says, “I hope that they too can turn their lives around and come out on top no matter what the situation. “I want the Youth and Young Adults to use my words as blueprints for the tunnel of a reckless life or for learning how to love and how to allow love to come there way. If it’s something you want GO FOR IT ! with passion and faith. As an artist I can only hope they will see my way of thinking. I want them to say I changed a few lives and helped them see a way out of things that may have seemed like death was the only option.” As Jaye Cane’s fan base grows, Jaye Cane cannot deny being in support of the well-being of all people. Jaye says, “I sit and watch all the charity commercials and they use to make me Hurt (ha-ha) i wanted to cry, so I would write down all the information and say that one day when I have a lot of money I will save all the poor sick and homeless people... I just can’t help it. The Haiti situation, it hurts me so much that I can’t save everyone in Haiti.” Jaye Cane has a bright future ahead of him, with Mixtapes, EP, song placements, writing songs for major artist & on tour with major record companies. Jaye Cane is undeniably Next to Major. www.twitter.com/jayecane www.facebook.com/jayecaneworld www.youtube.com/jayecane www.soundcloud.com/jayecaneworld

Poo-Baby Reported by DJ Soja Realz of Bubble Shake Radio Bubbleshake.com Worldwide
There is no one word to describe ATL’s “First Draft Pick.” If you asked him yourself he’d tell you “Shit, you know how the kid rock, I’m the Floyd Mayweather of this Rap Shit.” And with powerful performances and heavy punch lines, that is definitely not an understatement. Poobaby has made his mark in this industry starting as a member of Lil Scrappy’s G’s up crew doing everything from the Pepsi Smash Mic Pass commercial, Wildin’ Out, 106 & Park, videos on MTV and BET (Cell Phone Watch) to performances all across the nation and overseas. He brings to the stage a sense of attachment to his energy that’s undeniable (especially among the ladies) as he wraps you in a type of swag that none can measure to. If ever you ever had the pleasure to watch a performance you’d witness a pandemic of women crowding the stage. “I bring hood shit to the the table too, but I most definitely bring it to the women. Everything is about life experience.” Growing up in the heart of Decatur, GA hood, surrounded by family , Poobaby gives you the real down south comfort with worldwide energy. Together with his friends and loved ones created the 2356 Entertainment Movement. “The 2356

Starting at the tender age of 7, is when Andre, (KONY) wrote his first rhyme for a school project in first grade. Not taking it seriously at the time, he left it alone until the age of 11 and as Andre grew older, he began to notice he wanted to take music seriously. Around the high school years is when KONY became more active in his craft. It was an added plus that his High School was involved with Hip-Hop culture and KONY joined a program that directly associated him with three other rappers that became “Tha Works Records” which included KONY and a poetic mentor, named Jive Poetic. Jive helped mold KONY from being a normal mixtape artist to being an all-around artist in general. In fact, he helped KONY attend and become an extra in a Poison Pen video shoot and getting TWR their first performance at a center in the Bronx. At age 16, KONY Brooks & Zay Rhymes decided to officially make themselves a group called “The Almighty Renegades”. Back then it included KONY, Zay Rhymes, and a female artist known as “Amazin”. The King Of NY has also appeared on Internet and FM Radio with Steph Lova on DTF Radio, Real Deal Radio 106.1

[Open Market] I’m about to release a national project. My budget is low. Is it better to spend money on marketing or public relations? Although there is a fine line between the two. Before I can answer your question I will need you to answer mine....
Do you have an established-self-sustaining fan base? Think about it and answer honestly [laughing], take your time, [Jeopardy music plays in background] like Katt Williams “Don’t worry I’ll wait”... Okay, time’s up! If the answer is NO (and yes, “no” includes only being known in your hometown, immediate family, friends, city and state) then I’d suggest starting with marketing. Why you ask? Marketing aka “pay for post” is guaranteed placement of your posters, album cover and other promotional art in key places (i.e. magazines, blogs, music sites, night clubs etc.) Placement in these prime locations make impressions of your brand in the subconscious minds of those who come in contact. This is very important!
Also, don’t forget to utilize free marketing by submitting your new music and videos to sites, independent/college radio, and DJs for rotation and placement [consideration]. These basic and inexpensive steps give the public a chance to hear your music, possibly leading to new fans, and additional interest in you. Hence the power of marketing. Now, if you’ve already established a brand and reliable fan base, invest in public relations and notify your existing fans and familiar media of your new projects, tour dates, in addition to conducting interviews. These fundamental steps may possibly catch the attention of those whom have seen your brand previously and now want to know more about you.
Oh yeah and a fact to remember: Avoid interviews and reviews for pay. When people know you cut checks for coverage they’re less likely to believe the good press given. Of course the media outlet gives you feature interviews [when no one knows who you are] or five stars your latest album.... YOU PAID THEM TO! Good luck!
No matter what you decide, proper marketing and public relations is almost as important as the music you create.

Welp… I guess it’s official between rapper Future and stripper/ socialite Blac Chyna now. These days, couples make things ‘permanent’ by tattooing their lover’s names somewhere on their bodies instead of exchanging rings. For example, Ciara and Future (real name Nayvadius Cash) got ‘engaged’ by tattooing each other’s initials on their ring fingers (she’s since got it removed) and then she got knocked up and even covered an issue a bridal magazine… all without a ring!
Now, Blac Chyna, another impressionable young lady, has fallen for Future’s ‘magic’ and recently proclaimed her love of the rapstar by inking his stage name on her body as well, sharing it on Instagram.
2015 album, DS2. Chyna, 27 and Future 31, have been seeing each other on the low for a few months now, but I guess now they’re ready to make it official (or at least Chyna is ready). The pair was spotted leaving Magic City in Atlanta during BET Hip Hop Awards wekened… Meanwhile… Britain Mealy, one of Future’s three (or is it four?) baby mamas, got roasted online by her friend Shkinah after she reposted the image of Chyna’s new ink. Needless to say, Brittni had a change of heart and deleted her post after the backlash from her friend… What do you think of Chyna’s new ink?? Will Chyna be next on the roster of Future’s baby mamas? Stay tuned…
“Thought it was a drought,” she captioned the pic of her new body art, referencing the title of one of Future’s songs from his

The first big U.S. battle rap event of Spring 2015 went down this past weekend and the Twitter and blog world is catching up by reacting to absolutely everything imaginable that went down.
rounded and lines where not as predictable. Rock was ready for this battle, you can tell he did his homework. Tsu Surf broke him down lyrically. Probably the battle of the night.
The biggest battles on the card pitted Hollow Da Don vs. Charlie Clips and Tsu Surf vs. Tay Roc.
Charlie Clips vs Hollow Da Don
“All the battles was pretty good, at least for a while,” he said, after admitting that he himself had an off-day against K-Shine. “I personally like Roc and Surf. It was a close one. The crowd was a little more with Roc but Surf’s material was better.”
I was super hyped for this battle. First round was solid for both, the first round will decided who won the battle. Second round Charlie Clips handed it to Hollow Da Don for free. Charlie spent the whole round dissing Cortez and some other guy. He didn’t come at Hollow at all. In my opinion if your going to talk the shit you better walk it all 3 rounds. Hollow took round 2. Charlie Clips came out in round tree with fire. He was cooking in that round for sure. Here is how I have it going. This battle can go 2-1 either way. Hollow got 2nd round Charlie got 3rd round. The first round i hard to judge. I might have to see the battle agin, but now I edged it to Hollow.

This battle had very little hype behind it. It was the first battle of the night. It set the night of perfectly. The battle was fire. DNA came with fire material all tree rounds. He was wilding out on Serious Jones. In my opinion DNA cooked him 3-0. The fans wasn’t feeling Serious Jones that much. He had a couple of nice lines but couldn’t get a round. DNA came to work, we need to see more of DNA in this form.
This battle is nice, lots of cold bars. First round was fire from both. Jaz fired shots at everybody, K-shine, Suge, and Goodz. The second round was crazy, Official took the second round in my opinion. This battle was nice, can’t wait to see more from both artist. I have to give this one to Official 3-0
su Surf vs Tay Rock
This was my favorite battle of the event hands down, K – Shine came with that fire, he was cooking all tree rounds. There was nothing that Ayverb could of done, the crowed didn’t want to hear any of it. They had a little fuss break out on stage, they almost had a fight. K Shine got this battle easy he 3-0 Ayverb. K Shine is back. 29
Shortly after the event the crowd spilled out onto the streets of Manhattan and media outlets, BattleRap.com included, caught up with as many of the participants as possible. RapGrid spoke with Aye Verb right after the event and got his take on the night as a whole.
This was one of the battles that the fans wanted to see the most. This battle was very has to judge. Both came with fire material all 3 rounds. Every single round was fire. I will have to give it to Tsu Surf 2-1. I felt like he was more

CURRENT EVENTS The Ebola Virus And The Truth They’ve Been Keeping From You
An official study done in 2012 showed how Ebola could transfer between pigs and monkeys that were in separate cages. They were never in direct contact. The experiment made a conclusion that Ebola could be spread through suspended droplets in the air.
not wearing recommended personal protective equipment.” According to their update:
That Ebola could only be spread through exchange of bodily fluids has been a line we have heard countless times, ever since the virus was discovered, on mainstream news. But corporate media and public health officials have been keeping the truth from you. For some time now, it’s been suspected that CDC’s honesty on this matter is questionable. They have recently made changes concerning Ebola transmission; ease of transference and contamination is of great concern. According to their update: “A low risk exposure includes any of the following: o Household member or other casual contact with an EVD patient. o Providing patient care or casual contact without highrisk exposure with EVD patients in health care facilities in EVD outbreak affected countries. “Casual Contact” Definition: “Casual contact is defined as a) being within approximately 3 feet or within the room or care area for a prolonged period of time while not wearing recommended personal protective equipment or having direct brief contact (e.g., shaking hands) with an EVD case while 30

“Casual Contact” Definition: “Casual contact is defined as a) being within approximately 3 feet or within the room or care area for a prolonged period of time while not wearing recommended personal protective equipment or having direct brief contact (e.g., shaking hands) with an EVD case while not wearing recommended personal protective equipment.” Why then didn’t the CDC present this information sooner to the public, so that they could implement effective preventive procedures to curb the spread of the Ebola virus? Ebola is presenting itself as a virus that can spread in the same way Influenza does, but the mainstream media and government insist it can only be transferred through bodily fluids. This is questionable and could turn the general public complacent.
hard to contain. Its incubation period is three weeks and it has ‘hitchhiked’ on international flights to Nigeria since the infected have not been quarantined. Its spread has been unprecedented so far especially in West Africa and one wonders whether it will be contained or will spread even outside Africa. This 2014 Ebola outbreak is the worst ever since it was discovered in 1976. During a span of five months, it has claimed 1145 lives. August official figures are: Liberia 413; Sierra Leone 348; Guinea 380 and 4 in Nigeria. This could be an underestimate number at the time of reporting, given that 12 cases have been reported so far and over 200 people have been kept under surveillance. Total lives taken a week ago, in the four countries were 961. That is a scary rise of a possible 184 deaths -which is alarming! Nigeria has been the fourth country to be affected by the Ebola virus which brings the infection tally, in West Africa, to at least 2100 people. This is according to reports from the World Health Organization. Doctors without borders claim that curbing the outbreak may take months even if precautions are taken to discontinue flights to these countries, so as to quarantine the infected.
What is interesting though is the fact that the FDA released a statement stating that “Ebola does not pose a significant threat to the U.S. public,” and this is according to data CDC released. They also stated that the virus was neither “water-borne nor food-borne” and that it could not be “transmitted through the air or spread through direct contact with the bodily fluids of an infectThe new Ebola outbreak is alarming. The 10 Greatest Hip-Hop Beefs
Meek Mills disses drake on twitter to set off a beef we will never will forget. The beef had the fans glued to the radio and internet daily. Drake comes back with “Charged Up” that was mediocre but meek mills took so long to come back with a track. Drake then came back with a Grammy nominated single called “Back to Back”. OVO had rappers everywhere making fun of meek mills while his record sales dropped drastically. Meek said he was just too busy to really put his all into the beef but has just came back out with a four song LP entitled 4/4. This is a battle that will keep going and talked about for many years but this is not the only battle in rap that has turned some heads. Here are 10 of the greatest rap battles to ever take place in Hip Hop history.
1.
Nas vs JZ The Jay Z vs. Nas beef was a gladiatorial battle between two rap titans. For almost a decade, two of rap’s most decorated emcees went at each other’s throat. They started off with subliminal jabs and moved up to body shots. Fans cheered on. Crews got in the mix. Digs got so personal that parents had to step in. Thankfully, the battle didn’t end in tragedy like Biggie vs. 2Pac. It ended in triumph.
2.
2pac vs Biggie The battle between Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. was unique in so many ways. 34
Interestingly, Pac’s tactic was the antithesis of Big’s approach. Not one to bite his tongue, Pac kept his insults as explicit and aggressive as possible. (Who could forget “Hit ‘Em Up”’s opening lines “That’s why I f---ked your wife, you fat muthaf---a”?) Biggie, on the other hand, stung Pac with subliminal disses, often delivered in a poised manner.
3. Ice Cube vs. N.W.A. Eazy-E and NWA’s man-
agement rubbed Ice Cube the wrong way and then had the nerve to dis the group’s best lyricist on “100 Miles & Runnin’.” Cube initiated a flame-throwing match with his former allies and came out somehow unscathed. With “No Vaseline,” Ice Cube single-handedly annihilated an entire group. A rare feat which has never been replicated.
4. Canibus vs LL Cool J Canibus is famous for
battling himself on wax, but he truly earned his stripes when he squared off with the Bigger and Deffer LL Cool J (in his prime, mind you). The odds were heavily stacked against ‘Bis until he unleashed “Second Round KO,” alongside a trash-talking Mike Tyson. That lyrical uppercut is something like a blueprint for some of today’s top rhyme pugilists.
5. Kool Moe Dee vs. LL Cool J Kool Moe claimed that Cool J stole his style and decided to teach a 19-year old MC named LL Cool J a lesson. He gave LL a lyrical whiplash in the form of “How Ya Like Me Now.” Cool J fired back with the instant gem “To Da Breakadawn.” Kool Moe Dee wouldn’t let LL have the final word, so he struck again with “Let’s Go.” LL hit him even harder with “Jack the Ripper,” in which he ridiculed Moe Dee’s trademark Star Trek shades. 6. Common vs. Westside Connection History teaches us that one way to draw the ire of a fellow rapper is to publicly indict them for hip-hop’s demise. It worked for Soulja Boy and Ice T in 2009, just as it worked for Common and Westside Connection in 1995. This feud stemmed from Common’s lyrics on “I Use to Love H.E.R.,” which Ice Cube claimed was a subliminal dis to the west coast. Cue “Westside Slaughterhouse,” a vicious attack on Common, replete with the grimiest rap video ever made. 7. Boogie Down Productions vs. Juice Crew As is often the case in hip-hop, this historic beef was all about bragging rights. It pitted two New York boroughs against each another. KRS-One instigated the beef after claiming that MC Shan’s song “The Juice” wrongly credited Queensbridge, instead of South Bronx, as hip-hop’s birthplace. Consequently, BDP took Shan and co to the cleaners with the raw dis “South Bronx.” Shan struck back with “Kill That Noise,” thus setting up BDP for the classic “The Bridge is Over,” which delivered the final blow to Shan’s rap career. 8. Kool Moe Dee vs. Busy Bee No discussion of rap’s best battles is complete without mentioning the historic showdown between Kool Moe Dee and Busy Bee. The year is 1981 and every rap lyric ends with the phrase “in the place to be.” Two fearless emcees take the stage and, in an 8 Mile-style contest,
go on to pioneer what we now know as battle rap. Busy Bee entertained the audience with crowd-pleasing raps, but Moe Dee would eventually make mince meat out of him with some mean rhymes.
9. Eazy-E vs. Dr. Dre After a nasty breakup, ex-NWA cohorts Eazy-E and Dr. Dre traded insults non-stop. Dre was about to seal the deal with “Dre’s Day,” but Eazy-E fought back with “Real Muthaf--kin’ Gs.” Eazy attacked Dre and Snoop, calling them studio gangstas who never truly witnessed the harsh realities of the ‘hood. As if that wasn’t enough, he devoted plenty of airtime to Dre’s past as a member of the electro-pop group World Class Wrecking Cru’, ridiculing Dre’s fashion faux pas. 10. Eminem vs. Benzino/The Source This is probably the most absurd of all the battles on this list, considering that Eminem launched his rap career on the pages of The Source. The hip-hop bible featured him in its ‘Unsigned Hype’ column back in March 1998. But the honeymoon ended after Source co-founder Raymond “Benzino” Scott started hurling disses at Eminem on wax and through the magazine. While Slim Shady had no music rag to throw back at Benzino, he had something Benzino lacked: rap skills. Read more at musicpusherent.com

Producer of the month
BLACK FRIDAY Why do they call you Black Friday? The Black Friday came from a label I was trying to start with a longtime friend. I took from the name because technically I have everything for sale. The Audio, the visual just about everything you need we are able to get it done as far as entertainment. What made you want to make beats? How did you come across starting to produce? I originally started as an MC and nobody had beats back in the day where everything was hardware, you had to ern your way in the studio. As a necessity I was always the one to research and get it done because I was tired of asking for beats. I started with the EPS16 plus, then moved up to the ASR10. then started with the MPC moved to Reasons and fruity loops and here I am in the digital world. How did you come to forming the Political Music Group, can You elaborate more to us? That technically started in 2003 when I met my partner J-West. He initially had a partner name Dekan Red AKA Carmine, I actually came in with one man named kaceem the dream. I met him through another hot brother down here in Atlanta named Priceless. When I met them I had a company called the pharmacy that didn’t quit pan out because everyone didn’t agree to the name

so we sat down and put our heads together and came up with Political Music Group. Which is what this game is about any way just pure politics to get to the next level. We then designed a logo and here we are! Tell the readers where they can find your beats? They can find us on the twitter @PoliticalMG or you can hit me up @Blkfriday777 also at politicalmusicgroup/blogspot.com. message me at musicpusherent.com/production Who are just some of the artist you feel did a good job with your beats? I loved the great job Renegade Sage did. You can find priceless, Ru Spits, Hollywood Haiti and Soja Realz with “You Don’t Know” worldwide distributed. Where are you from? I am from 221 and Merrick Blvd in Quuens New York. We then migrated to Georgia about 10 years ago. Since we are talking about the south how do you compare the sound to New York where hip hop started? To me it was only right that there sound took over because the west coast had there sound and the south had a mixture of every type of sound………….
