tram stop – ’High Bridge’ the material of the new structure is wood similar to the existing one. the main difference is the new stressed system which is supported by only three pillars. it is covered by wooden lamellas which are standing ajar preventing from the severe weather conditions but allow pedestrians to see the arriving vehicle.

wooden pedestrian bridge across stream Szölnök, in Őrség the site is the river bank of the stream Szölnök. it is a rich green environment with bushes and trees. therefore adapted to the site and planned a curving bridge. i considered having as few supporting points as possible. with this structure i managed to design a simple but unique bridge which can become the symbol of the village.

furniture design i was given 4 metres of debarked lumber to create two pieces of furniture. one of them was a piece to cover the wall while the other had to be a stool which can be placed to the stairs of the main entrance of the school.

barn and house the site is situated in a small village of Vereb. it is an empty, narrow but long piece of land. the procurer, an artist wanted to have a complex building including an outbuilding and a house. the outbuilding, the ‘barn’ is situated closer to the street while the house was placed further inside. the outbuilding and the house is connected by an area which is covered but open from the sides. i decided to keep an old shed standing quite close to the entrance therefore there is a smaller space forming entrance. i also adapted to the current green environment and formed the building follow it.

‘Windows Slope’ the fictive site is the Windows wallpaper showing green hills. i had to design a residential park for about 100 people including families having children and people living on their own. i decided to plan detached houses for each family or single person. i did not place the houses in a strict order rather by chance so they are loosely connected to each other. all the houses are facing towards the South, some of them are free standing while others are supported by buttresses. the skeleton of the houses is made of wood therefore all of them are low energy buildings. i used alternative energy supplies for heating and a reed bed sewage treatment system.

parametric structures

parametric structures spatial modifications by counting different distorted geometric frames. to generate distorted forms from regular ones i connect the bodies’ different two dimensional figures with straight constituents. i started the planning process starts with the smallest unit. it was followed by searching a method to the connect them. in the last phase of the project i started to generate systems which can be further continued.

modelling

i got the task with a friend of mine to build the model of the Hall of Haj贸s which is under reconstruction at the moment. the result is a 1:100 scale model made of wood. i chose to work on the french garden for which i used balsa and lime wood. the model is currently on stage in the main hall of the Hall.
